Did all the Moorabbin auction items go?

Post: # 1033529Post Born in Moorabbin »

I have spent months trying to find out which reserved seat my grandfather had for years at Moorabbin. By the time I found out, the auction was finished. All I have finally found out it was Row 1, Seat 124, and wonder whether anyone has bought a seat back with that on it. Have tried to find out from the Club if there is any stuff left, but nobody seems to know anything about it. I would love to track it down.

I believe that the Social Club actually ran the auction. They took care of it all on pick up day anyway.

In regards to finding your particular seat...The item sold, seat wise, was just the seat numbered back rest. Sure you may find the seat number, but not the row as they were not numbered on the seats.

I would try to get in touch with someone from the SC....to see if anything is left.

Well I eventually got the scoreboard. Cost a bit more than I thought but worth it.

Rory said two days before the pickup that there was only a few seats left.

So I suspect they all went.
(I bought one post the auction).
