Also she says the photo of Rooey was taken in April. Wasn't he terribly injured with a torn hamstring in April...in fact it happened on the 9th April. So what hotel would he have stayed in during April. He wasn't playing after the 9th, could barely walk.

You should definitely email the photo comparisons of the Delano and the photo of Riewoldt to the Herald Sun or The Age.

This could kill her credibility and prove that she is lying (and maybe kill her 15 minutes of fame).

Cant believe its that easy to find the hotel room. Surely its not a unique design.....

If the photos are jpegs, (and most digital photos tend to be) then a simple right-click - properties and view the details tab should tell you which model camera was used to take the photos amongst other useful info.
If it's not the girl's model of camera then I think that speaks for it's self.

The data can be edited, but I doubt the young lady would be smart enough to think of that...

I stay in a lot of hotels & have never seen one that hideous. I reckon (& hope) it is a unique design & it sure looks like Florida to me! You would have trouble finding that much white anywhere in Melbourne!

It is very miami hey Helio.

There isn't any sister hotel, she only said that when someone questioned her about this place.

She is keenly watching this all unfold, in fact she is probably reading this thread.

If dudes on this blog could find out with 99.99% certainty that the pics were taken in Miami by just using Google, I'm sure 100 journos and the rest of Australia interested in this story could as well.

The truth is irrelevant now. Journos are not interested in finding out or reporting the truth because it's not news worthy enough and there would be no big story if the truth was discovered. At the press conference yesterday, journos were going down the line that Roo and Gilbo had a fractured relationship which could destabilise the club. Ross nipped this in the bud. It will blow over when the next crappy big news story comes out; whatever that is.

Like I said, the truth is irrelevant.

Most journos want this to hang around because it sells papers. It is not in their interest to bury it too quickly.

Unless someone circumvents the crap story for them they will let her get as much airtime as she wants until no one cares anymore.

There are plenty of non sport journos that are playing the poor girl angle knowing that she is a nut job and a compulsive liar, but they bank on the fact that the story will die out by itself before she is exposed.

It appeals greatly to the people who dislike sports people and the football culture. Wins them moral grandstanders that with out seeing anything use the whole story to add to their negative impression of sportsmen.
