Don't know why we all get sucked into responding to RF to be honest. Of course ANY saints supporters would be interested in this news - in fact most footy supporters would be interested in it. Probably not a lot in it but who cares? It involves our second or 3rd highest profile player at the club. I mean, did RF watch the doco on Ben Cousins and follow his adventures in the past 3 years? Or course he would have.
As if he only took an interest in the Lovett saga once he was delisted. It's just grandstanding to make himself look like he's above what the rest of us peasants find interesting.

To those who have never met Lenny, he is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Of all the players that have ever been at St Kilda, he is the one I know the most. He has sought me out at functions to speak to me. He is a thorough gentleman and I have never heard one bad word against him and I would defend him to the hilt.
Bakes is his best mate and I find it very hard to believe they had a punch up.
I have no doubt some idiot has had a go at them. It makes headlines because he is
a - St Kilda and they like to make us look bad
b - high profile AFL player
c - off season

So you are saying a guy had a go at them and then they punched each other. Now that is a strange story. As for Point A, you need to remove that chip from your shoulder.Saint Bev wrote:To those who have never met Lenny, he is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. It was the sound bite that I heard on SEN. According to you, it's news and must be true because it was reported on the Hun and subsequently read by tens of thousands of people on their website. I personally do not gave a problem with any of the players being out at 5am when on AL.

But they did punch each other and you also said it was reported because they play for the Saints. That is a chip on your shoulder or more likely a whole potato.Saint Bev wrote:No chip on my shoulder. Im with Rogerfox.
This incident has clearly come about because of Ross Lyon and his game plan.
Lyon is the one who forces these poor young men into inflexible "roles" that dictates when/where and at what time on a football field they may/may not dispose of the football and includes detailing the delivery means be it by hand/foot.
Clealry with these stringent restraints placed on them by a senior coach who akin to Atila The Hun the players are now revolting, using their pent up frustration as a catalyst to cry out "we just want to be able to play free flowing footy at.....Richmond For Gods sake!!! - to hell with making 3 GF's in a row..."

OK , so Lenny confronted the bouncer. Doesn't matter what Lenny said or did ,, he was headbutted and then dragged out by the hair .
Um , and just where did this security guy get his license ??.
If this is the case ,,then it is the wrong thing to do.
Bouncer should get 13 weeks minimum

First thing is who cares if they did punch each other up that stuff can happen at any time.
Second if they did get into a fight that can als happen to ANYONE.
Third they have as much right to be anywhere they like at 5am there 30 year olds and Im sure there parents dont mind.
Fourth its a story but unless there hurt and cant play in 4 months I couldnt care less about it.
Last thing is that we took the moral high ground with Lovett last year and it cost us a flag IMO.
