Missed it.

Had a look on the SEN site and couldn't see a link to audio or anything.
So if anyone could post a link or a brief run down of what was said, that would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

I hope you aren't taking the piss!

It is always riveting listening to coaches spin a load of bollocks on the radio!

No one said anything about it being facinating or even dull for that matter.

for those who do wish to know

Brian was congratulated
He was asked about all the coaches leaving- said as Grand finalist then the coaches are in demand to endeavour to enhance other teams

He was asked if Ross was ( too?) hard to work with- or words to that effect- he said that he is extremely well prepared and his knowledge and involvment are amazing- his work ethic great- ( don't quote words it was 3 hours ago but nothing but praise)

He was asked about the team and the reaction to the loss.and professionalism-
they named Nick and Lenny as Great trainers- he responded ( and named)that there were more than those two who are great examples

He was asked about favourite players leaving-- Ball and Bruce ( which I thought lacked insight by interviewer as he was at neither club when they left- Luke had gone before he was appointed and hadn't arrived at Melbourne when Bruce issue raised.) he gave no specific insight into their reasons for going-

He was asked about his move to and role at Melbourne- repeated as he had said and had been mentioned by Michael N- at saints was in development role- At the Dees a chance to be a line coach- will be in charge of the backline

we can but hiope they upload the interview but they are hit and miss.
-----------------------------------------

IMHO it was interesting to hear them ask four or five or more questions on the saints which were oviously designed to get information about the saints rather than focus on his move and role at melbourne- only the last couple of questions even touched on them.
and secondly I always listen for how people think of the saints- If the club is to GROW in all areas then surely it helps if they are promoted as being worthwhile, or reasonable value, worth following, and exciting to be involved with... and not negative, repressed, and going backwards.

My guess is that it is all to do with Melbourne cheating the salary cap to get him ahead of us. He was all set to join us when he left Freo but Melbourne trumped our offer and we couldn't match it.

They were later found to have cheated the salary cap to get him and fined for it.

Yes, Jeff did want to play with us however, the story I heard from a very close source was a alot different than Melbourne trumping us.
