Was it something to do with him missing round 9, 11 and 12 and kicking 34 goals in the only three games he played in six weeks?

No.
Kicking 34 goals in 3 consecutive appearances is pretty amazing.
But apart from your instance, he did it on TWO other occassions !!!!!!
...

1991 R7 Moor v Adel 12 goals (the INFAMOUS game)
1991 R8 Gabba v Brisb 10 goals
1991 R9 SCG v Syd 12 goals

1991 R21 Moor v Carl 13 goals
1991 R22 Football Park v Adel 10 goals
1991 R23 dnp
1991 R24 Moor v Syd 11 goals

1992 R10 Moor v Brisb 12 goals
1992 R11 dnp
1992 R12 dnp
1992 R13 Moor v Syd 15 goals
1992 R14 MCG v Rich 7 goals

So Plugger66 was almost right, just robbed Plugger of a goal.

Lockett's efforts in 1991 are astounding.
He wound up with 127 goals but could easily have broken Pratt's and Hudson's record.
Apart from the fact that our finals campaign was cut cruelly short due to an incompetent finals system (changed the next year) and Geelong thuggery,
Plugger also missed the first 5 games.
He could easily have kicked 170 that year.

Over to you.

Only three players in in the last 30 years at St Kilda have had quadruple doubles. That is 10+ kicks, handballs, marks and hitouts in one game.

Stewart Loewe against the Bulldogs in Round 14 1998
Spider Everitt against the Cats in Round 16 1993 - only his 8th game.

One other player achieved this feat. Who was it and when?

Has to be a mobile ruckman, or a part-time ruckman.

Sounds like Blake?
Perhaps in the amazing game he played against Hawthorn a few years ago where he kicked 3 goals in the 3rd quarter to get us back for an amazing win?

That's what I was thinking but it appears he only had 5 marks. Great performance though.

For the second time in a row I have stuffed up the question.

It should have been four separate stats of at least 12 not four separate stats of at least 10. And it is a ruckman, perhaps someone less likely than even the Blake.

Although the Punter got it right as asked, if you have a question and feel the urge then go ahead.

It was Lazar Vidovic.

Round 14 v Adelaide (a draw)

15 kicks
13 marks
12 handballs
17 hitouts
3 Brownlow Votes

Leigh Montagna, James Gwilt, Jason Blake and Sam Gilbert have done something no other St Kilda players have ever done. What?

Remarkably, Sean Rehn did it in the same game. The feat has only been achieved 22 times since about 1980 according to this site

Would Lenny Hayes be the closest to do the 4 x 12 without hitouts? (Kicks, marks, handpasses, tackles). Luke Ball would have probably some close at some stage, and Clinton Jones would be an outside chance if he kicked a little more.

Edit - Lenny Hayes's triple doubles

Lenny Hayes career best marks is only 11, so he hasn't done it.

We have three players currently who have kicked a goal in every game they have played for the Saints (Sippo, Crippo and Polo)

Jacko kicked a goal in each of his 10 games for the Saints.

Who is the only Saints player since 1980 who played more games than Jacko and kicked a goal in every game?

Not Scott.

This guy was not a key forward, never kicked a bag but kicked at least one goal in every game. He averaged less than 1.5 goals per game and played less than 20 games.
