Official 'who do you want Tommy Walsh to clean-up?' thread
As Tommy is in the Irish team for the International Rules series, I am looking forward to seeing him clean up some opposition players--not Gilbert or Joey, of course. Who would you like to see him clean up? My choices are:
1) Dane Swan
2) Varcoe
3) Goodes
4) Gibbs
5) Dangerfield

So bag the thread, then compare them in '3 rounds'... Moron...johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:Is this what it is all about? Ok. If Tommy offered Swan 3 rounds he (meaning Tommy) would be lucky to see the distance.
But I'll add, clearly you have never seen Tommy in the flesh...
One of the most powerfully built atheletes ive seen... Does not mean he can play footy, but if it were for '3 rounds', Swan would be annihalated...

What...don't you constantly hang out out the Collingwood forums and ark up against anything anti Stkilda? I do,I find it very worthwhilebigcarl wrote:somehow I think not. take a hike jpbfc. you don't belong here.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:If Tommy offered Swan 3 rounds he (meaning Tommy) would be lucky to see the distance.

Tommy would take him to the cleaners. Something that Swan knows all about.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:Is this what it is all about? Ok. If Tommy offered Swan 3 rounds he (meaning Tommy) would be lucky to see the distance.
Interesting to see the pies players being made targets of this board. The mind boggles.

I just can't wait to actually see him play his native game (or a variation of it) to be honest. If he starts trying to clean blokes up, the aussies as a collective will have his measure, as I'm sure they will go into bat for each other. I won't mind seeing some real aggression from him though - at ANY Aussie player

On the subject of Dane Swan v. Tommy Walsh, to me it would be like a prize fighter up against a dirty little prick that would glass you in the eye with his left hand while shaking your hand with the right.
You would rather leave the little prick to wait until he is at Loddon gaol- the retirement home for ex pies. I would rather Tommy concentrate on putting his right knee into the back of Tarrant as he pulls down some big grabs.
