I dare say he was on a 2 year contract to start with, so no real point in delisting him if he's still contracted.

Having said that, I was expecting more from him last year as an "older" recruit, hopefully he can really start knocking on the senior door in 2011.

Played most of the season with a broken hand, wasn't great, but neither were the Sandy seniors.

Why would he play with a broken hand. Would it not be more beneficial if he stopped playing until he had recovered?

ud think he wasnt achieving much running around for sandy who were mid table without being able to mark or tackle. seems odd if its true.
why not just heal the hand and do a running program and maybe do something else productive for 6 weeks.

Gaertner is the promising one.

Hope we give him another year to step up another notch.

Not at all.

Goose was injured then he reinjured himself and then he reinjured himself again and again and again.

Will was pick 77 in what was acknowledged to be a very week draft year.

Was taken after other speculative picks in J Smith and Patto (who may have just been taken asa an emergency back-up).

so while it is disapointing he did not havea good year...he was always a speculative pick.

Upside for this year is that it is meant to be a much stronger draft pool than last year.

So our first 3 picks should be ok.... before we get into the more speculative late pick/s and rookei selections.

We are not going to have any speculative picks unless we offload more players.

Not saying they will, but lots of time for deletions yet.
