Geez..... I reckon I'm a chance to be picked up at #144.saintlee wrote:Can't imagine we'll be using picks 110, 127 or 144!HSVKing wrote:Thursday November 18th.
Picks - 24, 42, 59, 76, 93, 110, 127, 144

Australia...... Live it like we stole it....... Because we did.
At the moment we only have 4 picks and 2 or 3 of those will probably be used on Simpkin, Miles and maybe but I doubt it, Walsh so that will leave only picks 24 and 42 unless we delist one or two more.saintlee wrote:Can't imagine we'll be using picks 110, 127 or 144!HSVKing wrote:Thursday November 18th.

Unless they delist Miles they will not have to use a pick on him, the way he played in thos last 2 H&A games I cannot see them delisting him.plugger66 wrote:

Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
Yep you are right. That was last year. By the way he may still be a chance to be delisted. Anyway I thought we put 3 up but was it only 2?saintsRrising wrote:Unless they delist Miles they will not have to use a pick on him, the way he played in thos last 2 H&A games I cannot see them delisting him.plugger66 wrote:

Why would we have to use a pick on Miles??? He is a listed player, promoted last year and waiting to see if he gets another contract, which he should!!!saintsRrising wrote:Unless they delist Miles they will not have to use a pick on him, the way he played in thos last 2 H&A games I cannot see them delisting him.plugger66 wrote:

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

McQualter isn't up to it. The others have to stand up, but I don't think Armitage is up to it either. Leave out Peake (disposal is shocking), McQualter, Eddy and maybe even Baker from the Grand Final team. Bring in Miles, Clarke, Stanley and Jack Steven. Leave them in there and see if they can give us something new and fresh in that team after a decent run of games. There is no point having defensive forwards like McQualter if they can't even do that, we then also lose a forward. Forwards are there to kick goals, no wonder we only kick 8 goals a gameDan Warna wrote:geary, raph clarke, stevens, mcevoy, mcqualter and armitage if injury free need to step up a bit imo.
this is where our improve will come from, if they can't fill in, then we are looking at a long winter.

Let's hope Walsh shows something next year and that he becomes the best thing ever (football wise) to come out of Ireland.
I wouldn't give up on Peake, he did play very well in both the Qualifying and Prelim Finals.
Hopefully he would have learn't a bit from the 2 GF's.
Agree McQualter and Eddy at best are taggers, McQualter lacks pace, wouldn't be surprised to see him de listed once we make our draft picks.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.
Sorry who is Stevens? FFS the bloke is sponsored by this site, he is a kid on our list, the least you can do is get his name right....Dan Warna wrote:geary, raph clarke, stevens, mcevoy, mcqualter and armitage if injury free need to step up a bit imo.

I was impressed with Peake in the other two finals, he was found out in the GFs but I'd prepared to persist.
Re those other players, Clarke was injured, he did step it up before injury. Mini has little room for improvement imo. McEvoy is being heaped with so much pressure, he's still very very young as far as ruckmen go. Geary hit some form, but I believe he was injured toward the end of the season, if not injured should have played in the finals.
Armo, well enough has been said of Armo, all i can say is hopefully he will be allowed to string some together and remains injury free, i believe he has what it takes.

Should use it on Aaron Hamill or Fraser Gehrig, or maybe David Strooper.bigred wrote:Pick 144 will be freakin awesome.
Lance or James??

Unfortunately can currently only take picks to round 4 - as we have only created 4 spots on the list with retirements and delistings..bigred wrote:Pick 144 will be freakin awesome.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
