Just reading through this interesting site that discusses staying or leaving and found this bit of info
A group of five-hundred football supporters volunteered to take part in a survey to find traits and habits amongst fans of Australia's leading code.
Interestingly, of those supporters who choose to stay at a game after it's clear their team has lost, 80% of them admit to staying until the end simply because they have nothing else to do as they have no life outside of their football club.
95% of those supporters who are male also suffer from impotency, results have shown. It is believed impotency and "staying" are directly linked.
