Exercising the option to leave

What a phat time. The anguish ,, the emotion , the camaraderie , the abuse.
Was another huge trip in for me. Had a great time except for that small part on Saturday afternoon where we capitulated at the hands of the the Filth.

I've laughed , I've shed tears, screamed my lungs out and remained stoically silent at other times.

The frustration of attending today listening to cliche'd lines and then looking at a less than impressive Seaford. The guy asking me why i couldn't put a Melbourne address down as i wrote out my membership.

All these things pale as someone mentioned something very interesting to me tonight .

A fellow Saintsationalist reminded me ,, that I had the option to leave the country and tonight I am exercising that option.
He said that he'd also like to have the option.

Unfortunatly the town i live in has a few pies "followers" and the rig i work on in S E Asia has only one other Australian on it ,, but i am sure you can guess who he follows.

But whilst i sit here in the Lounge at Tulla , I guess i should consider myself fortunate as I am sure a few of you would also like to be leaving the country.

It still hurts though ,, even though it's "just a game" , I am not over it.

See you in 2011 for more highs and lows.
