Don't be disappointed! BE PROUD!
3 AFL Grand Finals & 1 NAB Cup Final in 2 years is one heck of an achievement! One that many teams cannot do! Pies have had an easy year, no set backs nothing! The saints have practically had a set back once every round! No skipper for 50-60% of the season! Next year i think the sainters will be/close to the team we saw last year!!
Don't loose faith
GO SAINTS

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.

I believe every year. Used to believe in the days we were hopeless. Eternal optimist.
I'm proud of the team to have done what they've done in a year of real adversity.
But.....they have to look long and hard at what happened today. we weren't up to it...but there are are quite a few teams behind us, so hope we saddle up again....do the marathon, and get into the top 4 again. From there you never know.[/code]

I am not proud I am frustrated to yet get so close and this time like the NAB cup is just terrible we weren't beaten, we were hammered. Looked very ordinary
That said, I am counting down the weeks till it all starts up again and will be as loud and proud as ever.
But we have a lot of work to do.

There are 14 other clubs who would have given anything to reach that game.
Yes we lost. We have a history of losing, but if you don't change your mindset, nothing will change.
If you're going to bring that kind of attitude then you can piss off.
it has been around this time that "Kosi" will headbutt a fence, rip a hamstring or belt someone.

Losing a grand final does not make you a bunch of losers. Someone loses a grand final every year.
The fact that we have played in three grand finals with the likes of Dempster, McQualter, Eddy, Dawson and Peake in our 22 proves that we have a team of committed and professional players and a very good coach.
Success is about getting the best out of everyone at the club and sustaining a high level of performance. We are doing that!
Losers? That's what we were in the 80s. We are now a respected football club on all levels - coaching, playing, and management. I'm proud of my club and what they stand for (and how they've performed) in 2010.
