Can't be there.
Hubby was lucky to get today off, tomorrow's out of the question.
Plus that damn bike race will make a trip down the highway in the morning a nightmare.
But for the record I love the boys, I love the team, and I love that we can go again next year.
Go Saints.

Shattered dreams are just opportunities for improvement. Live and learn, fail and try harder. 2011 beckons.

I'm over saints footy and those that practice it.......... till next season.....
anyway , i have to mow my lawns on Sunday....
i'm interested now in Trade Week ,then who gets delisted ,actually, i'm very interested in that, and then finally who we draft and what position the draftees are MEANT to be best in....
I'm also very interested in whether we waste another 1st round draft pick or we finally recruit a decent player, someone still worthy of that mantle a couple of years down the track, our record of late with first rounders has been poor.

I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

Didn't feel like going tomorrow after enduring the presentations after the game today, but I too remember how much better I felt after going last year.... hopefully it will help again!#1GILL wrote:I'll be there also, it was nice to get some closure last year.
Also good to support the boys. They must be feeling like they have been to hell and back today.... maybe not back yet!

Isn't going along tomorrow right up there with fans of Fremantle and West Coast clapping them off the ground after losses, this year and in previous years? No wonder we don't win premierships, when we accept such mediocrity. When do we draw a line in the sand and say we're not going to support insipid efforts like that?
And will they have them roped off from those of us who do go, like they do now for the intra-club match?

Good on you Saintbrat.saintbrat wrote:to show my support and help Them in what ever way is possible
Reading the posts here I realise I did feel a bit better for showing up last year, so before flying out tonight I think I'll make the trip to Moorabbin . Shouldn't expect that it'll make me feel any worse.
What will be next from this club ?

AnythingsPossibleSaints... I can't believe you wrote that. Of course it was a terrible performance yesterday. Of course we're all embarrassed.
If you're able to go today it's to show your support. How would the players feel if no one showed up?

In honour of those who went before, in the dark and desperate years.

I'd like to hear a bit about the day if someone is kind enough to post up some comments.
You know, 14 other teams would have given their left nut to have had the opportunity to grab a flag like we have over the past two seasons! No doubt in my mind would the results have ended any differently with another team in our shoes! We showed a lot of bravado and guts last week- pure desperation and willpower almost snared it for us! We've been unlucky twice! Yesterday we just looked spent! Obviously fresh legs can take on seasoned bodies! We've had two different Grand Final opponents! One was a dynasty of an incredible team in the Cats, and now we played a rising super-power in the Filth! Again next year we may just be the team that all others will look to to stop their run again!
We've seen that "on our day" we can match it with them! I can't give up hope! That's what holds this remarkable club together! Hope and loyalty! Go Saints!!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!
