Would love to know the thought behind his selection????
Not sure why Ross has picked him and for what role????
He has NO offensive output, and little defensive....His opponents have controlled the game

I agree with you, BM. A terrible selection. Too many "Lyon footy" players in our team today: Dempster, Eddy, Jones, McQualter, Peake... One of them would have been enough (Jones for mine). Armo, Geary, Steven, Stanley, even Miles would have given better value.
But Eddy was particularly crap last week. Armo instead was an obvious choice. Terrible mistake.

Need to bring on the youth like Collingwood did.
Armo, Steven, Geary, Lynch, Walsh, Simpkin, Stanley and Miles need heaps of game time in 2011.
I think the future looks bright. Cats and Bulldogs are gone. We will still be up there for next few years at least.

Can someone please explain how Eddy got a game this week after last week's lame effort ?
Bloody hell ..
Geary was okay during the year .. but somehow loses favour in the finals .. why ? .. why ?
Wouldn't we have been better off without Mcevoy and Eddy - and choosing Geary plus Steven instead perhaps ?
We needed good ground level players .. we chose a lame ground level player and a ruckman/plodder instead ! ..why ???

I'm sorry, but I don't think Armitage is up to it either, had his chance earlier this year and didn't take it.
He's a good kick, hard at it, but he lacks leg speed.
Believe Steven looks the better option, does what Armitage but has speed, but needs to become more consistent.
Next year guys like Geary, Steven, Stanley, Lynch, Miles and Heyne have to step up to give us more depth and speed.
We also have to trade next week and try and get some more players.
Unfortunately Peake had two poor Grand Finals, however he did play very well in the lead up finals, so he stays for another year.
Milne did kick 9 goals in 4 games in the finals, but our forward line was non existent today, also Milney is 30 so he probably has two years left.
Now I have defended Kosi all year and I do love him, but, something tells me Stanley will have his place next year.
If these players don't step up and if we don't trade intelligently, well we wont be playing in the Grand Final next year.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.
