Game plan exposed

Post: # 1006738Post FootyLover »

Game plan exposed - too defensive-minded with nowhere near enough fast breaks and attack (as evidenced by very low scoring in most matches). :(

With that pathetic effort and after a few glasses of wine -- I'm open to the suggestion of defecting !

What else can you do but treat this as a joke ? .. just like the Saint effort

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Its a telling story when McEvoy has more tackles than Dawson, McQualter, Milne and Eddy combined.

We are not winning the ball or creating enough or getting enough possession to win any game leave alone this game.

Others expected to do better are Monty, Dal (acting like a rabbit in the spotlight today), Milne, Peake, Riewoldt and Kosi (given the time he has had in teh middle).

Roo needed to move up the field and have more effect on this game and the team's spirit.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Pies have the numbers to the ball all the time. The Saints are depending on too few. Plenty of Saints not standing up. Some should get their marching orders next week. I'm ready to name names.

Our forward line is pathetic. We should go into the preseason with the mentality to SCORE. A too defensive game plan is just as bad as a too attacking game plan. We do not have that balance. Collingwood do.

If we continue to rely on one player up forward we will continue to have our hearts broken one game short.

Disappointing. Heart breaking. Shattered.

Please convert ilbert... He's going to feel more than any other that he's cost us the game with those three misses.

Good on ya.

Pretty ironic that our style of play has been modified and used against us to win a grand final. I think we should take a leaf out of Collingwood's book.

I don't think any individual is going to feel like they've cost us the game mate.

But he certainly had the opportunity to put us back in it. Must feel like s*** missing those three, but at least he's giving it all he has unlike others.

The only positive for me is that I didn't manage to get a ticket for the replay. Will try to keep the memory of last week going into next year.

Thank god.
Can you do us all a favour and end your association with the club (and this forum) as of this second? cheers.
