The bubble's stuck in the Lyon cage...

Mate just sent me this report;

Kosi, Zac and Lenny running laps.

Others doing ball skills.

Dal looks injury free

Crowd Packed.

Grammy doing kicking with main group.

Gilbo - Looks fine. In main group

Great news. Thanks to those posting any updates. I wasn't able to get there today

Liking the 'crowd packed' bit.

"ST KILDA midfielder Nick Dal Santo says he is fit and ready to go after battling with back and hamstring tightness in last week’s grand final draw against Collingwood.

Meanwhile, ruckman Michael Gardiner hasn’t been ruled out for this week’s replay despite appearing to suffer a serious hamstring injury in the drawn game.

Dal Santo admitted he was not at full fitness in last week’s game but said he was on track to be much better in this Saturday’s re-match."

Also:
"ST KILDA defender Sam Fisher is certain to come under heavy scrutiny from Collingwood in Saturday’s grand final replay, but he says he will play his natural game despite the attention."

Update from my mate;

The boys just did a lap. Crowd went nuts.

Two groups. Those who played on sat and those pushing for a spot.

Boys who played just left the ground, except;

Eddy and bakes still kicking. Roo, kosi, peake and Joey doing handball

I liked the sound of the Arnold Breidis interview today - North not spending any more than an hour on the park all week, trying to focus on their skills and not the game. The guys who played won't get worked much.

Unfortunately, I don't think Collingwood will bust a gut like Hafey made 'em do back in 1977.

I love plugger too.

Nice hour's drive up to Moorabbin to see them train. Packed crowd, pretty tough to get in. Everyone looked 100%, no niggles or hesitations or anything else of the like. Big absence of Gardiner - pretty much certain he's not playing now. Hope he still gets a medallion.

He does, providing the Saints win.
