Let's support/expand OUR Cheersquad !!
From looking at the site map it appears that we OWN the Punt Road End this week, with the Cheersquad being the centre-piece of this.
We know the other mob will be loud with their Coooolllllllliiiiiinnnnngggggggwoooooooooooddddd thing but I am extremely confident that
WE CAN OUT-NOISE THEM, OUT SCARF THEM & OUT FLAG THEM
Who's with me ? !!

Dont compete with a similar chant.
When they try their Collllllllinnnnnnngwooooooood shyte, you just have to compete with the usual St.Kilda chant...it breaks it up. Loses all effect.
Fkn flogs.
Bandwagon flogs.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....

I thought the fans at the game were brilliant. It gave me goosebumps seeing our red, white and black flying high and hearing everyone in full voice. I was so proud.
I cant say what it was like at the game but from the telecast you guys did a great job of breaking up the pies chant.
Hopefully our boys will be giving us plenty to cheer about this weekend!

Still around 20,000, meaning we have a long way to go, but I expect we will be getting pretty close by game time !!derby Street wrote:Well I can get you another 6 fanatical Saints to give you a hand - how many does that leave you short ?

Those flags came from the AFL, they gave out filth ones at the other end.sainta wrote:It was also a great initiative by the club to give out those free flags before the game. They all looked fantastic at the game and on the TV.
But it was fabulous to see the red white and black at the punt rd end, I was right amongst it and the feeling was the best I have ever felt. The noise when BJ took that mark was the greatest I have ever heard including the good old days at Moorabbin. I got goose bumps and my wife just burst into tearsof joy, it was brilliant.
We need to build on that this week and make sure that our voices are heard.

I dont think I have ever cheered so loud in my life and I had tears when BJ took off running thumping his hand over his heartBringBackMadDog wrote:Those flags came from the AFL, they gave out filth ones at the other end.sainta wrote:It was also a great initiative by the club to give out those free flags before the game.
