Pies trying too hard to look cool

Just as they looked a little too self-conscious in their designer shades during the Grand Final Parade (Jason Blake was the only Saint wearing sunnies), the Pies looked thoroughly ridiculous on the news tonight leaping around at training, grinning, high-five-ing, etc., etc.

Clearly they've been instructed to present nothing but positive body language this week, just as RL instructed the Saints boys after the game. Problem is, the Saints stole a march on them in that regard (think of Nick Maxwell's whine -- now unconvincingly retracted), and they're desperately trying to make up ground.

A good sign.

I gathered they were at the Closed session park- Coburg reserve

I heard they are taking up the option of a sessin at the mCG this week-- becasue they can make it a closed session...
