I find this a bit wierd.

I was too nervous yesterday to even eat lunch yet Ross is out house hunting on one of the biggest days in our clubs history.

I think he over analysed the match ups and tried to think too much outside the square. Blake should have gone to Roughead from the outset and CJ should have gone to Rioli. Our midfield looked better over the last 6 weeks with the additions of Gram and Goddard into the middle with Fisher providing th...

I think the match ups should be as follows: Buddy- Max (A), Fisher (B), Gilbert (C)....I am hoping we only need plan A. Roughy- Blake. Williams- Gilbert. If he is carving us up early like he did in Rd 16, moving Max on to him would be an option. Cyril- CJ. Same job as last week for CJ. Make him hurt...

I would love a Bar code if someone can't make it to the game for some reason.

My wife and I are coming down from Canberra and I am so close to converting her into a saints supporter (and breaking her three generational Bulldogs obsession) that this one code could clinch the deal.

Thanks

Out: Eddy Allen
In: Ball G Train

Why not?? He will at least give the short Hawthorn backs something to think about and create a contest for Milne and Schneids to crumb off.

If he can kick 2-3, its a massive bonus.....and is training well by all reports

That is why I am trying to think of a way to free up Kosi from his ruck duties...to give us another option. Against Geelong in the NAB cup he looked ominous as the forward target but hasn't looked likely since. I think the reason for this is that he is always shagged when he runs back into the forwa...

What we need to do on Saturday Night.

* Play M Gardiner to allow Kosi a decent crack at FF. This season he has alway looked deflated in the forward 50 from having to run 150m from the back half to get to the contest. He is a power forward that relies on energy to get the ball. * Ensure Roo and Kosi lead away from each other. Too many ti...

Apart from the going to ground and spilling the grab turnover, Raph was good. Gave us run through the middle and stood amongst the poor performances of others.

I hope he has turned the corner.

This is going to stretch the backline ever further.

I agree that Gwilt is the key up forward.

I think we have under estimated the effect that Hamill's retirement has had on our forward line over the last few years and if Gwilt can step up and be the dangerous third tall it will take a lot of pressure off Roo and Kosi.

This week's match ups

With our current line up, Collingwood look a challenge to match up on due to the depth of quality small forwards that they have at their disposal and our lack of quick, small defenders. Thomas, Didak and Davis in particular are the major concern and they expose a weakness that West Coast and others ...

Yeah it was sweet....most of the classes were practical in which we would train or go to the gym. We had about three class room sessions a week where we would go through our tactics etc or study for our level 1 coaching course and sports managment course.....GOLD

I went to Palm Beach Currumbin High School and was in the Innaugral Sports Excellence program squad. It is good to see the program is still producing quality footballers like Sam.

I must say those where the days. Studying football as a subject, a great deal more interesting than chemistry.

Addison will tag Dal Santo while Boyd will play a defensive HFF role on Gram. I suggest playing Birss on Gilbee, C Jones on Griffen and run Ball head to head with Cooney and likewise with Hayes and Cross. This may prove dangerous so it might be worth bringing in L Fisher on to the bench to add redun...

if Hawthorn can make it work with Roughhead, Buddy and Boyle then we can as well. I think Ross and his team should watch the Hawthorn vs Melbourne and Fremantle tapes and see how they structure their front half and create space for the 3 big men to operate in. They seem to use their crummers in Riol...
