Adam Hartlett who was delisted today is an interesting one.
He is a 196cm key forward who emerged as a key defender this year with the Bullants and had a few senior games.
He mightn't be a bad pick up as a depth key back.

They just said on SEN that Conners believes the talks between Stk and Collingwood are extremely positive and that both parties are confident that a deal will be done. We are obviously holding out for a 'quality' player but as we know from Collingwood, they always rate their players much higher than ...

Now that Hawthorn have lived up to their reputation and have been too arrogant to get a deal done, is Burgoyne on our radar? It is documented that he likes indigenous boys around the club and he would know Raph and Lovett from past Aboriginal All Star games. He is a proven goal kicker (has kicked 5 ...

Lyon staying in front of the curve
We all know that AFL clubs tend to follow trends and adopt game styles that successful teams use. I can see 'Lyon cages' or variations on them, will be trained and used by most teams next year. We also know that the only real way to get through this zone is run and carry. Therefore I think Ross is t...

This is difficult which I guess is a great postion to be in....fingers crossed for an injury free pre-season!! The side I posted is missing Ray who I think will be in the 22 and Dempster who I consider border line. If I was to bring Ray in, who would I leave out. Possibly Schneids ?? As much as I ha...

I think I like the following for Round 1. B: Baker Dawson Blake HB: Gilbert Fisher Geary C: Lovett Hayes Montagna HF: Goddard Riewoldt Gram F: Milne Kosi McQualter Fo: Gardiner Dal Jones Int: McEvoy Raph Armitage Schneider Emerg: Peake Gwilt Steven I really think we need to give Geary more game time...

I think Stevie Baker needs some help in the Small Defender area as was exposed in the GF with Byrnes, Varcoe, Chapman and Johnson being two too many for us to handle. We know that Raph is not best suited here and Gram was exposed pretty badly in the Prelim. Goddard and Fisher are better when they ca...

To talk of players like Pendlebury, Didak and Swan is farsical. The callibre of players they will offer up include Toovey, Cox, Wellingham, Goldsack, Barham, Reid and Brown. I think we are a small defender short and may be a depth key back short also. I would rather a Brown and Goldsack trade for Ba...

it's true his grand final was poor, but his last quarter against the bulldogs in the preliminary played a part in getting us over the line. His last quarter was poor but there aren't too many defenders who could have kept pace with Shannon Byrnes at the end of that slug fest...not to mention he suf...

Hamill was crucial to our structure in 2004 and many people forget that if he was fit and firing, that prelim against Port may have been different. I still can't get over that tosser on here earlier tonight bagging the s*** out of Sammy for being cruelled with injuires....worst kind of supporter IMO.

I definately thought the same reference Armo. He seems to be built for wet weather footy and I wouldn't be suprised if he was named as an emergency and brought in as a late change if the weather is bad on Saturday. The question is though, who would he come in for?? I know Eddy is the obvious one but...

I am fortunate enough to have known Doc all my life and grew up with him giving me football tips every Friday after school. I last saw Doc about a year ago at my cousins wedding and he was in good health and in great spirits. He does get emotional at times but this is a result of his strokes and doe...
