They should have beaten us earlier this year but failed to finish
They didn't kick a goal in the second half! That's not failing to finish, it's failing to restart.

Schneider seems to be a player who is a very good learner. Seems to understand his roles very well and rarely makes the same mistakes two matches in a row.

No doubt his errors on Grand Final day are still very much driving him as his finishing has been fantastic in 2010.

Fair chance the banner will say 'Well Done Brendon Goddard On 151 Games', given there was no banner on Friday night because of the conditions.

The First And Last Halves Without Riewoldt

Our first half of football without Nick Riewoldt was the second half vs Collingwood in Round 3. Collingwood kicked 0.9.9. to our 6.4.40. Our last half of football without Nick Riewoldt (to date) was the second half vs Geelong in Round 13. Geelong kicked 0.3.3. to our 6.7.43. That's 12.11.83. to 0.12...

Biggest sporting event in the world, biggest television event in the world, most played sport in the world.....must be really crap.

I'd prefer to watch AFL over soccer any day, but to say the game is crap is complete rubbish.

Roo, Gram and Smith fully fit are certainly in our best 22. While King and Dempster are talented players when fit, they may not be in the best 22, but they'd certainly be putting pressure on those who are.

Depth is very very important come September.

With the majority of people who yell out ignorant garbage, maybe you are stuck in the last century.
Good call. I'm 26 years old.

Why start a thread that effectively ridicules other St.Kilda supporters?

What's your next thread "The Worst Things You've Seen People Wear To The Footy"?

What a ridiculous thread. People yell and scream all sorts of things because they are passionate about this club and would give anything for success. Anyone who complains about people yelling out at the footy obviously never attended games at Moorabbin, Victoria Park, Princes Park, Western Oval, etc...

That's not very fair.

I got my dog from the lost dogs home and he's goregous. Much better to look at than what Robbo is.

Second Quarters

While St.Kilda's starts this year haven't been great (excluding the North game), it appears as though our second quarters are a major downfall. We have outscored our opposition in the 1st, 3rd and 4th quarters this year, but we've been outscored by 32 points in the second terms. Our next worst quart...

Armitage's performance on Sunday was in my opinion his least effective for the club. His attack on the man and ball was well below his usual standards and he would no doubt be very disappointed with his game. Obviously Ross Lyon and the coaching staff thought the same. Unless you're certain starter ...

The Kids Are All Right - Article From The Age

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/the-kids-are-all-right-20100519-vf94.html A band of young Saints are being groomed for the top. IT'S a truism of footy that when teams lose a few games, the supporters start baying for the appearance of the kids who may or may not be ready. Fresh blood, is the c...

I agree with the original post. I think Milne is pretty safe, but one or both of McQualter and Schneider may need a rest, or a different role elsewhere. Jack Steven and David Armitage have seemed more lively up forward, but personally I'd prefer a medium or tall marking option.

I would regard Armitage, Baker and McQualter as three of our tougher players and they all were as soft as I've ever seen them yesterday. They'd all be very disappointed with their efforts.

Andrew McQualter should count himself very lucky to stay in the side. Jack Steven has done a reasonable job in the same role and probably deserves more of a go. Steven averaged more tackles and goals than McQualter while in the side. McQualter kicked 22.9 last year, 0.9 goals a game. This year he's ...

By the sounds of these articles it seems as though Ben McEvoy is a certainty to come in for King. Zac Dawson won't be dropped. And someone new will be given a go up forward to support Kosi. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/mcevoy-returns-for-saints/story-e6frf9jf-1225865994334 http://www.herald...

Armitage was not injured last week. Both he and Stanley warmed up in the rooms and the race prior to the match.

Not sure if that's just a precaution or if we had two blokes out there who were doing fitness tests in the warm up?

Although King was below par, bit of an easy call given he went off in the third quarter with a hamstring injury and took no further part in the game.
