Well I must be pretty easily pleased too because I enjoyed the day very much. Nice to catch up with a few familiar faces and some new ones too. Was easily the highlight of my football year so far [not too many highlights this year] Enjoyed Francis Leach interviewing Jarryn and Tommy but the highligh...

Well I'm not sure that I could be described as ''Saintsational Royalty" but I'm certainly very stoked to get a gig! Thanks again to Mr. Magic for all your work.

I'm trying to recall exactly what the day involves. Does anyone know??

Ross was challenged on SEN this morning about the lack of new young faces in last night's team. It sounded like Cripps might have got a game if he wasn't unwell.

Also - Ross was asked for a likely young saint to pick in a dream team - he suggested Cripps.

2009 - Clearly the best team with almost the perfect season - still hurts - A LOT 2010 - Rising above unremitting adversity to progress to the most dramatic sporting event I've ever witnessed - then to ultimately lose to the hated filth - will hurt FOREVER I thought I might try to be a bit more disp...

My first thought also was that the timimg of the Milne article is possibly quite orchestrated to reignite the Saints bad boys vibe and deflect from the protected team.

Put the Milne article on the same page as Nixon and effectively increase the bad branding of the Saints

I might be able to forgive Sam's stupidity if he learns to kick straight and wins us a premiership this year.

Many many proud moments popping into my head but two of them were against Geelong this year. The mid year [bakes] game in pouring rain as underdogs against Geelong. My memory was a backdrop of a gruelling week off - field re the milne thing and still battling on without the roo. Three awesome goals ...

Yep I've got one but she's half decent - not provocative and has pretty good teeth actually..

I'm going to say something like - yep you've got the premiership but we've got the moral high ground. Small consolation i guess :( :(

Same same. It's the first time my radio has been playing classical music for a very long time, and the first time the sports section has gone straight in to the recycling at arms length.

Great post and I'm daring to hope you're right Verdun.

Thought I would just add that the guy who sat next to me at the game last Saturday was wearing a very old Saints guernsey. Turns out that it was Verdun Howell's very own guernsey from '66. Gave me goosebumps.

I was next to the opposite scoreboard in Q 30 row V last week and not even close to restricted viewing Sinning Stevo. Good luck with that.

Same same where I was in the Ponsford. Nobody left for quite some time and then there was a very respectful exodous with several pies supporters saying 'well done' It was either a full moon or close to it and felt like it. Have to say I felt very priveleged to witness the day with BJ and Lenny's her...

I was sitting on the opposite side of the ground to our cheersquad but I'd have to say that at least visually, from there, the C/S and surrounding bays looked stunning.

Everybody should wear as much red as possible next week. The pies bays looked very dull in comparison.

Just lapping up all those gorgeous Saints colours. Here in Williamstown it's seriously Bulldogs territory.

Felt like I was coming home last year driving down Nepean Hwy to our open training session.

I meet a steady stream of people from the football industry coming in to have babies at work - clearly not appropriate to mention names.

Suffice to say - they usually look a lot more comfortable on the footy field or in the coaches box than in the maternity ward 8-) 8-) 8-)

Not sure about Geelong Solar but both the Barwon Heads Pub and 13th Beach Golf Clubhouse have foxsports. I've watched the footy at both but I certainly wouldn't call them real gathering spots for footy followers.

The Barwon Heads pub has several screens including a faily large one.
