Was Raph that bad though? People are hanging, almost hoping that he stuffs it up when he gets it, so every mistake he makes gets amplified. Only really bad error I thought he made was when he got ran down in defence which was just lack of awareness. Other than that, a few bad kicks - But a lot of ou...

Where have all the Saints fans gone??
I'm not one to really harp on about stuff like this, but gee what a disappointing crowd tonight. Obviously not a lot of Adelaide supporters at Etihad tonight, but to get only 26500~ on a friday night after winning 6 of our past 8 including a big win against West Coast last week, it really is disappo...

Yep, you could never doubt this guys will for the ball in contested situations. He again showed that tonight. The thing that impressed me most was that he worked hard to try and find the ball. It's been my main criticism of him since he arrived at the club, just didn't work hard enough going forward...

Thing that has impressed me the most, is that he was almost pigeon holed as an inside player only. He certainly isn't overly quick, also not a plodder when it comes to foot speed. But he spreads really well. He continues to run from the time he gets on the ground to when he gets his rest. Works well...

Armitage makes a statement!
Talk around all week that he may be dropped down to Sandy to find some form. As we all know was great early in the year, before being taken over by Jack and finding himself a lot more forward than in the middle. Been sub for the past 2 weeks. But got his chance to prove himself tonight and he was fa...

What I loved about him tonight, and throughout the whole year is: Despite not being at his best, which is clear, and is OK as a lot of great players have down periods, he continues to work. Took 14 marks tonight, just due to presenting, double leads, 100m sprints, Rutten just couldn't go with him. A...

Congratulations Geary for the quick turn around and getting back to the side! I think his kicking isn't depolorable. Better kick then Armitage, Polo and Gram and they are all still in the team. I think this means a more defensive role for Fisher which will be no worries as he can do it, but we will ...

Amazing isn't it. One point loss to Cats, draw to Richmond, four (?) point loss to Carlton. We find one goal across three games and we are gaining momentum, finding form at the right time and vying for third. Cruel old business. Something about hitting form late, and peaking towards the END of a se...

Pelchen left Hawthorn as he wanted a role like this and Hawthorn didn't want to give him one. Pelchen will be Ross' boss. Pelchen will have his fingers in a lot pie across all areas of the club and the rebuild will now begin at the end of the season. I don't love all the picks he has made at the Haw...

Kerr out is significant, who does Jones play on now?
Dempster goes to Embley who is having a sensational season.
I feel Gilbert will go to LeCras as he usually does.

Outnumbered in a big way in the crowd again yesterday (out of a huge 29,000). When you're getting that many less than even North (even at a North home game), at our home ground, when both teams are fighting for a spot in the 8, only 9 months after playing in back to back Grand Finals, you'd hope th...

The best thing for us regarding Geelong is them winning last night. Also, Steve Johnson and possibly Selwood may come under some scrutiny from the MRP over some incidents last night. They will be ripe for defeat next week, the question will be will we be able to accept the challenge of doing it. I'...

Dogs are in a similar place to us. They've made a tonne of prelims over the past decade never making it to a grand final. They are a good team with confidence destroyed missing their gun midfielder and forward. If cooney had played it might have been a different out come. Cooney is comparable to ha...

Steven Baker - still a must pick every week!
Higgins 21 touches in the first half - he is everywhere, chopping us off half back.
Baker goes to him as a forward tag, Higgins has 5 handballs and 1 kick in the second half and Baker kicks a goal.
Still a very good stopper.
