If it was a deal with the Dees could it be a player? Maybe Ray or Saunders?

Re: A harsh truth about the Saints best backline
Come to think of it... I think the last time we got it completely right was all the way back in 2004: At a glance you had a back 6 of Penny, Hudghton, Fisher, Jones (Austin), Voss and Black. Penny was ur gorilla, Hudghton was number 2, a young Sam Fisher played on the third tall and tried to expose...

Re: 2015 - Draft & Trade Thread
Seems like Jakey needs to be convinced. Would have thought he'd made a decision by now. Why would he? If his manager's got any sense then he's telling him there's no hurry and he should hang on another week or two, see if the offers improve. It's exactly the right thing to do. The trade can't be do...

He would qualify as an unsigned out of contract free agent, even if he doesn't qualify as a free agent. I believe anyone could basically get him in the same way we got Roberton from Freo. No compensation. Nah, you can only be a delisted free agent if you weren't offered a contract. He's been offere...

But by delisting Markworth, surely that means that we have lost control of him and we can't include him in any proposed deals ???? :? By that, I meant that isn't a delisted player free to go anywhere in the draft or PSD with no trading or compensation for his original club? Correct. But given he wa...

Looks like Newnes got votes in most games, but always low numbers. It'd be good to see him take the next step next year, actually start to have serious impact on games.Con Gorozidis wrote:A bit surprised Newnes couldnt crack top 10. Also Mav would be disappointed I think.

Markworth is a "189cm marking target"? Really? I haven't seen him that much but didn't think overhead marking was really his strength.

Though they wouldn't have won last night if the Dogs had a good tall back to replace Fletcher Roberts. He had a shocker.FQF wrote:Adelaide isn't cannon fodder. Their top players are absolutely elite and as good as any top shelf in any other team.

Re: Bulldogs to win Grand Final?
Had to chortle reading a tweet from dogs fan comparing the loss last night to the heartbreak loss in the Prelim to Adelaide in 1997. Fair dinkum, comparing an Elim loss to a Prelim loss. Lol! I think it's fair, I was at both games and they were pretty similar in vibe. Dogs looked like they almost h...

Lonie and Dahlhaus
I reckon it's worth watching Luke Dahlhaus play, because that's where I hope Jack Lonie will be in a few years. Really good at pressure, can get a lot of footy in the midfield and can kick a goal. I really rate Dahlhaus so it's a very very long way to go for Jack but we can hope.

WHO says the players "can't be trusted" to have a drink together? My problem is with the "drink". Alcohol is terrible for the body and even at this point, bingeing is going to negatively affect their preseason. I'd be happier if they all headed out on happy pills and coke. Fewer...

Re: Weagles free kicks
Interesting, good stats, thanks. To put it another way:
home games = +85 = +7.27 per game
away games = -8 = -0.73 per game
That looks pretty damning. I wonder which other teams have such a good free kick differential at home?
