JeffDunne, you got close then were distracted from the issue at hand. And where would such information as Thomas has apparantly mentioned come from? Well, if you move in certain circles you sometimes see and hear things. Like a work mate of mine has beetroot and tomato sauce in his lunch sandwich, ...

I disagree MM. I think Rod's got Caro's number on speed dial. Of course I can't prove that but years of her reporting on the subject lead me to that suspicion. As usual on this topic, you and I have opposite views :) I cannot convince you that RB is not the devil incarnate and you cannot convince m...

His outbust on SEN not enough for you? C'mon MM, be real for a second here. Rod's the one that's made 90% of the public comments on this. I'm talking from his own mouth too. Christ knows who leaks what to who. I was talking about comments from the two individuals. I'm sorry, I thought you were talk...

Sorry trav, IMO it's one of the main reasons I think it's time for Rod to go because he seems to encourage rather than discourage articles about it. JD, You keep posting this but surely it is only your opinion. I don't think I've ever seen proof that RB has 'leaked' any of these stories. You suspec...

If 'Caro the Liar' and 'Hutchy the Tosser' were correct in what they said on Footy Gossip last night, it would appear that GT has aunched an 'ambit claim' at teh Saints including anything his advisers (legal and financial) could include. Much like when a Union puts up an 'ambit claim' to the governm...

Re: GT's latest comments.
Another casse of GT forgetting to think before he opens his mouth on radio or something more sinister? you think? Personally I think most of his comments re the Saints are quite calculated. As RB said, " you had your go Thommo, now move on". Well I don't know conclusively JB, so I have to...

What's in the rules? Clubs making financial arrangements with players outside the salary cap? It's not unless it can be justified (i.e. marketing, etc). The salary cap is a key plank in equalisation. We wouldn't have the list we have without it. Feel free to show me the article, but the rules around...

GT's latest comments.
I have been waiting all day for someone to start a thread on this and am amazed that no-one has. Maybe we are all finally 'over' the GT/RB topic? :) DId anybody hear GT on SEN this morning trying to explain his comments of yesterday regarding 'contract negotioations' that were 'outside the salary ca...

Roo is a great player but not the best in the comp. J brown for one is better. As for him not getting all the frees. He gets the most in the comp. Of course a few are missed but I think he gets his fair share. Plugger66, I was being a little facetious in my op, but the point is that if every infrin...

Nah, like some others here I would be too busy following Cousins around and giving him a bit. No better than a common criminal, yet he gets away with everything he does. a $900 fine for running from a booze bus is the same as one of us getting a $20 fine for the same thing. Wonder if it was someone...

Hey Magic I didn't state or ask anything about the reasons for the free kicks I only asked what the stats were if you don't know then don't jump on my back about. You had a go at me and then said in the next paragraph you think I was right we are getting penalised more than our oponents? My apologi...

Don't be surprized if NDS is 'cited' by the match review panel for attempting to swallow Hall's forearm/elbow! I believe that Saints Board have asked their lawyers to check out if we can sue the Umpires for 'fraud by masquerading as impartial competent officials'. They plan to call the Swans Coachin...

Whatever the numbers are they are totally irrelevant. Surely you are not suggesting that a,legitimate free kick be not paid becuse we've had too many frees this season. All free kicks should be paid. Our problem is that there is a new 'hands in/on the back' rule being paid against our defenders this...
