I was once of the belief that "the game plan will work once the boys learn it", but here we are at the end of Lyon's 2nd season trying to adopt this game plan and we're no closer to learning it than we were in Round 1, 2007.

You'd think Harves would do that to people but the playing group responded during his 300th game like they didn't give a flying crap about his contributions to the club so I don't think it'll spur them on any differently.

Simple as that. We've gone, in the space of 7 days, from having great momentum heading towards the finals to having none whatsoever.

We'll be lucky to beat Port next week, which is a game I'm flying down for from Sydney but with no confidence whatsoever now.

Terribly sad.
