Agreed, the amount of Roo bashing tonight has been inexcusable.

Guys, saying "he is paid to kick goals" doesn't get rid of, nor contribute towards the fixing, of a possible problem. He had a chance to win the game and didn't succeed. It's not the end of the world however saying bad luck and it's not his fault is incorrect. Granted we played poorly and...

[I don't need to try and put you in your place. You stamped that out for yourself with your comments on the former Saints coach. You confirmed your status as a low life. How long have you been here now, three months? Time for you to nick off I would say. I am neither anti or pro Thomas, but why is ...

I completely agree, but Lukey's jitters have stretched on for a few months now, not just tonight.

As I said, I love the guy, I am just making an observation.

Luke Ball

I am very worried about Luke. We all know the talent he has, but his niggling injuries and lack of confidence have really smashed him this year. He had time away to get back to his best and he's come back only slightly better. Don't get me wrong, I love Luke Ball...I'm just a little worried about hi...

It is caused by arthritis.

Luke Ball is less than half my age, he can't run, junp or kick.
It is caused by osteitis pubis.

The result is the same, we aren't able to participate properly in our favourite sports.
Interestingly put.

Other coaches will be reviewing this match carefully. THAT is what I am worried about most, not how we respond. After Round 11, 2004 we were worked out big time and I don't want it to happen again. So if Roo kicks the goal other coaches wouldnt review the game. No, did I say that? I would have been...

After 19 wins, having beaten the Cats and the Hawks with 8 of our best players out, I still didn't think we were invincible...never let it get to my head. I guess I'm a little bit proud, hehe. But our season starts now.

Bring on the next winning streak. I'm not greedy, 5 games will be enough. We should make it 6, just to be sure we cover the possibility of losing in the first week of the finals! Somehow i feel that if we were on a winning streak, we may just have won that first week of finals! But i get ur ...

I would be worrying about our useless captain's no-show this evening though. How can you seriously sit there and try and tell everyone you're NOT a troll? 50 of your last 51 posts have been bagging Riewoldt as useless and pathetic, a 4 time B&F winner and an absolute champion. If you WEREN'T a ...

Lay off, don't bag our captain cos of one average game and a missed goal. The way you put it was absolutely atrocious.

Yes - see St Kilda 2005.
It shouldn't though, more often than not.. its widely known as a big advantage to have a week off

I worry about what something like this will do to his confidence. As soon as the siren sounded he grimaced didn't he? I mean, his head was down at the time but he grimaced. I thought he rushed it, just wanted to get it over and done with, and never really looked like he would kick it. I must admit,...

In the end, we lost to a Bombers team riding luck, emotion, momentum and passion through the game - we had nothing to win for. The 'streak' wasn't in their minds, as Dal and Hudgy and Roo keep saying. I'm not all that worried either, although next week will tell. If we're flat against North then the...

My only suggestion as to why they may be flat today is something to do with resting players/resting too many players last week.

I think we'll beat Essendon, Fremantle will beat the Pies and the Dogs will beat Adelaide, but North will beat Port easily I think. 5th or 6th is beckoning.
