There are no pizes for allowing ourselves to be the AFL's whipping boys (again). If we stand up, they'll learn to respect us.

We have to appeal this one. We've been the one club that has been consistantly shafted by the tribunal and it's tinme we put our foot down and fought back properly.

Some people just don't want to see what is in front of them. All the umpires need to do to be professional is keep it consistant. It doesn't matter if they apply a strict or loose interpretation of the rules as long as it goes both ways. For example, last week the umps seemed to have a strange idea ...

Good point about crowd involvement. For some reason this is area where are losing ground. At Moorabbin we were able to create a hostile environment for visiting sides. Lyon has had plenty of time to get a feel for the game, and I think that what we see is all we are going to get. One dimensional, unimaginative coaching........10 years? I don't think so.
