Matthew Clarke, MK II. Why throw away spots on our list for geriatics who'll stick around 5 minutes. Whilst there seems to be overriding support for King, cant help but think Riccardo will be right. Can see rnd 18 next year with Rix and Blake in the ruck, with Gardi, King and thier ruck coac...

The whole thing panned out interestingly, and i feel we certainly got the better deal. Schnider for pick 26(??) was good enough i thought. However, I went abit cold on it when the L.Fisher connection was made. He had an indifferent 07 season, but he is still finding his way, and has all the necassar...

As this trade week unravels, i am loosing more and more confidence in our coaching/selection staff... We hear by posters that 'that is their job, they obviously know more than us', but a unanimous sigh of relief by all supporters on here upon hearing Blake is staying with the cats, knocking back a l...

both should be welcomed back to the club, certainly not banished as has been the case with GT Thomas is a slime who wants to take $250k off the club. All he did all year was cause trouble. He should not be allowed near the place in any official capacity. Like Butters he can actually put some money ...

Handled himself wonderfully throughout 99% of his time at the top. A few ups and downs, but the team was the ultimate winner, most importantly in a financial and stability sense. Handled the challenge well, prepared for a fight, realised the realities, and did what was best for the club... Ostensibl...

Any point of Melb continuing with the Frawley deal, or should we just put our hands in our pockets and go to the draft with pick 9??... I get the feeling the demons will want to pursue it anyway, to have to top 10 picks, and spud might want to be a saint. Personally, I'd pursue a straight swap, pick...

Again the biggest player of contention seems to be Barry.. I'd persoanlly certainly keep him and play him as our number 1 RUCKMAN... People point to him not being big enough to play ruck and in the same post state Blake to be our permanant no.2 ruck. Correct me if i'm wrong, but if Brooks (at 198) i...

Christ I hope we keep Brooks for another year. Even the haters must admit the guy has serious talent, and his application to the task this year has been much much better with countless 'bests' in the 2's.. Next year may be his watershed, as with McIntosch this year. Rix has shown that it doesnt matt...

BJ's breaking the lines with his unbelievable kicking from the back half is too valuable... that is one of the things we missed most this year. Whilst we have 2 of the best running half backs in the comp, in Gram and Chips, BJ is the architect, and his surgical kicking will be of greater benefit on ...

Shattered that G has called it a day, but happy for him to bow out on top. He has always been his own man, and once again has put the club before himself. Upon thinking about it, he really is/was my favourite player in recent times. As much as we all love Harvs, G just brought a smile to my face mor...

If any of you care to re watch the games thommo has played in this year, he has been nothing more than a liability in ALL of his games. No better than CJ by any means, yet his reputation makes all the bleeding hearts come out and cry for him. He should have done the HONOURABLE thing and retired 2 ye...

I am an enormous fan of V2, but it has to be said that he was given a golden opportunity to prove himself again at the AFL level, and he squibbed it completely. I'm afraid I can't see any viable future for him. I'd rather see guys like Gwilt, Ferguson, Raph Clarke and Allen given a go. spot on... h...

Regarding thommo, i just feel its time to move on, and let the players Meher Baba mentioned above have a real crack at it... He aint going to offer anything more.. Now as for Brookes love, I was there for a while, and would love to still have Brookes love.. Seems like he's similar to a real attracti...

Surely you could not bring Thompson into the side when we hit the finals running... He is surely never to play again, he is so far past it and should not have gone on this year, simple as that... His games this year in the 1's have been feeble, and bordering on embarressing for a player of his reput...

Friday night, Big TV audience, and with West Coast, it will certainly be watched by either end of the coutry... 'Shame' would be a good start, and to name a few names would be good too.... L. Fisher would be my first choice on Le Cras.. Would bring Attard in in Bake's is rubbed out, and use him through the midfield... Alternatively, with Kerr out for sure and marbe no Cousins and Judd, we may not tag at all, and just try to dominate all stoppages.. Ferg maybe for Max.. I'd prefer Gwilt.

Just play Baker anyway...
Not too sure on the ramifications of this, but an appeal and possible further action may take considerable time to come through. Every man and his dog knows that this verdict is the most insipid, baseless, thoughtless, spineless decision in the history of the AFL (seems to be regularly the case unde...

Voss's only position in the team is as a forward marking option, and he did this quite well on the weekend. Takes a little pressure of G and Roo, and with Kosi back should be able to sneak a few in the comming weeks. He cannot be used in any other positions any more, particularly down back, as his p...
