You can't drop em all... and what hope would they have of 'clicking' if you are constantly changing the team radically?

This is so funny. And SS at it's finest. Under Thomas, he had no Plan B. A weak game plan that revolved around 'kick it to Roo'. When that plan was challenged, he had nothing. The best list in the comp but no nous to utilise it. Under Lyon, his plan is fine. It's good. It works for 2 quarters a wee...

I don't think it's the game plan, even if it is the ugly Sydney style we're trying to replicate we should be able to pull it off. I don't think it's player fitness or skills, we know they are fit and (most of them) are able play and kick straight. Confidence seems down, and this is affecting judgeme...

You really think Max would go ballistic at someone like that he respected?... Do you really think they're all 'good blokes' and 'good mates'? It's all bulltish, a friend of mine went to the wedding of a well known footballer last year and not one of his then team-mates were there... heard on the rad...

Just because they were made to come out, shake hands, smile and make nice for the cameras doesn't mean anything. Howard and Costello did it for years... they may hate each other's guts for all we know. They're all mates?... What are the odds?

You really do believe that don't you?

Staggering.

Why don't we just declare that it's 1967 again, un-furl the flag and pretend we're reigning premiers too?

Medication time....

However ugly the game plan and subsequent style of play is perceived to be (for the record, I hate it too), you'd think they were being asked to play a Rachmaninov concerto the way they go about it. The footy is still the same shape and the skills required are still basically the same. Players don'...

Something aint right here, and it needs to be fixed (preferably before this saturday!). I think it's more a player attitude and team unity issue than a game plan one. However ugly the game plan and subsequent style of play is perceived to be (for the record, I hate it too), you'd think they were bei...

Fact is something is wrong. Hopefully it can be fixed quickly, but I have concerns about team unity, and the Max/Goose incident didn't exactly warm my heart with regards to this.

Just what if the problem is there isn't enough 'love' down at moorabbin?!

There was one injury... me. My will to go on snapped in the 2nd quarter and will take at least 6 weeks to recover. What if everything is in place in a team but the majority of players just don't like or respect each other? Can a team overcome that and achieve success? They are soft and don't seem to...

I've come to this thread late - is it about Ross or Gary? And what's not his fault? Thanks in advance. Legend has it this thread began in september of 1806, when there was much speculation about the cause of a series of minor earthquakes which had just occurred in Lyon, France. Speculation abounded...

My guess is it will take a lot for him to get picked again. If others are picked to replace injured players ahead of him it will send a message loud and clear.

I blame RL for us missing so many goals last night, King getting injured, Dal getting hurt, and obviously for the Bombers having a dip for 15 minutes in the 3rd and attempting to capitalize on all these things... oh and the trains being held up. Frankly, it's a miracle (or at least a fluke) we won. ...

My jury is still out on Ross and his coaching style. Has only just broken even as yet. Broken even?? Gee, what's a failure in your book then SENS? I grant people time to grow into their job and build the team the way they want it. Until he's had a chance to do that, then I cannot judge him on resul...
