Talking to a Hawthorn supporter yesterday - he reckons Dowler was no good - played last year at Noble Park. Could not believe that we would pick him up. But that was his opinion. Taken at pick 6 originally I think. If he's picked up, it will be with a very late pick, so wouldn't be much of a gamble...

Personally, I won't miss Dawson. My heart was always in my mouth whenever the ball went it his direction. No big loss for mine.

Good appointments. Laidley will be a great asset as senior assistant I think, strong tactical abilities on match day.

Adam Kingsley is the only Assistant Coach remaining from the RL era. I believe Danny Ryan is the Development Coach or something similar...anyway assuming they both stay, we need 2 other line coaches, and a ruck coach you would expect.
