Doesn't make sense if they haven't interviewed Eade yet....so they're either going through the motions in interviewing Eade, or Micheal Roberts is speculating...I suspect its the latter

Re: Do we have a culture problem?

I guess what I was trying to get at (if it makes sense) is that we live in a culture that values winners. From an outside perspective, the reason people would say we have a terrible culture is because we don't win flags, but it would turn on a dime if we had won one of two. Two years ago, we were s...

Re: Do we have a culture problem?

And I don't necessarily mean just the players, I mean the whole club. Reason I ask is there a person at my work who used to work for the club a few years ago and lets just say she is not complementary about the place. Her words "St Kilda has a terrible culture, worst in the AFL".... Not t...

Sorry, forgot to add, the person in question has worked at 2 clubs, the other being Hawthorn.

And yes, her comment that St Kilda has the worst culture in the AFL is a generalisation, but the question remains, do we have a culture problem?

Eade is the probably the only experienced coach on the market that I wouldn't mind. I always rated him. Having said that, I'd probably prefer an up and coming assistant, but Eade is definately worth interviewing.

On Hinkley For what it is worth. Blight gave him a chance and he took it. When we shafted . Blight and he decided Stkilda was not the right place for him. He stuck up for his mate by walking out. Peter Jonas were asked to stay but they didn`t want to and who would! Ken Hinkley Lower level premiersh...

RL was a great coach, but our best players are getting on now and we don't have enough quality youth coming through....so no, I don't think we had a genuine chance in 2012

Didn't want to start a whole new thread just for this, but that gregarious cheerful excellent media performer Mick Malthouse has thrown Maxxies hat in the ring "Maxie Hudghton is the rage at the moment," Malthouse said on Thursday. "He could be going back home (to St Kilda). "He...

Might be a few changed opinions on here if Hinkley is in fact appointed coach. I would have thought someone with such a strong link to the successful time at Geelong is someone we should look at. And as for leaving the saints in 01, thats likely linked to the Blight situation seeing he was brought ...

I'd be happy with Watters, but if there is one thing that rings true for us its our old motto of "expect the unexpected". If i recall correctly Lyon wasnt in the frame for our coaching role until the very last minute. If anyone would have told me 12 months, we would have had our players w...

Re: St Kilda current situation, in General: Yellow Alert?

As far as the location goes, I would have liked them to stay in Glen Waverley/Moorabbin, I would have liked them to keep their deal in Tassie, I would have loved it for them to move back to St Kilda. Yeah I know it was impossible, but at least the Butterss crew seemed to capture the imagination of ...

Well it's just an opportunity for someone else to have a crack. And we're getting a new coach and usually they like their own people in place. Maybe the new coach would've given Dave the flick anyway. You'd think the new coach would be happy to have Misson on board....but I think your right that no...

Losing Misson is big loss, but I'm not surprised. I though he'd leave the moment Ross walked out.

Lets hope the injury curse doesn't return now Misson's gone....
