Re: The Granny - who's going?
Can't stand impartial people going to the grand final while members of participating teams miss out. Terrible system.

Re: bontempelli
Bontempelli is our new Judd. Billings is Ball. That simple. A rare howler from our recruiters. I just hope that it doesn't cost us flags, as the non selection of Judd did. But Luke Ball was a fantastic player. If it weren't for his soft tissue injuries, he could have made far more of an impact towa...

He's a hopeless ruckman. But I don't want to play two genuine ruckman either (unless the other one can actually play the game like Hickey can). Would be good if whoever fills in the second ruck role could occasionally break even...

I didn't post my doubts on here but I was worried about his ability to cover the ground at this level. I have been stunned by improvement in his pace off the mark and tank to keep getting to contests.
To me, it's a Sam Mitchell level improvement. A real credit to him.

Unlike everybody else seems to be on here, I'm no expert on team selections. It's incredible that the players spend about 30 hours per week at the club that none of us see yet we can be selection experts based on two hours we saw 6 days ago. Yeah why talk about it at all Talk about it because it's ...

You understand the meaning of planning yeah? You understand that players aren't going to be able to play at their best for 22 rounds straight, especially when they are 34, yeah? So now we're talking about something else? 'Pencilled in' doesn't mean definite. Perhaps Roo's body is traveling better t...

Richo said in the week leading up to the match in Perth that they'd pencilled in the West Coast game to give Rooy a rest but there was no holding him back...so ok...if Rooy has that sort of sway on the match committee...how much influence does our captain have on evry aspect of team selection? Be interesting to zee if the hawks can pin point their way tnru the zone this week Will be watching with interest We went through their zone a heap of times. Just butchered the ball on the way to goal. Not due to their pressure but just lousy skills on our part(Greshem, Lonie, Riewoldt, Joey etc). ...

Besides our hideous stadium deal.... Which we obviously agreed to... It was pretty difficult not to agree to it when we announced that we would be negotiating with the MCG and Docklands and the AFL told us that they wouldn't be scheduling us at the MCG. Rod Butterss said that the numbers didn't add...

Geary will never be A grade but is our next Jason Blake. His kicking won't improve but he will give his all every minute he's on the field. No squibbing or holding back. And autocorrect changed "Geary" to "heart"! Jason Blake positively influenced the majority of his contests. (...

This doesn't matter to us as competing club members does it? We only get allocated the worst seats in the stadium so theater goers who win radio competitions can sit in the decent seats.

I looks to me like the club are rapt that they've got a 6' 5'' centre half back from 2017 onwards.
If his suspension upsets you just pretend that we draft him next year. Because, what's the difference?

Re: Reward for cheating
In the circumstances, we should be permitted to draft an extra rookie. Isnt it just a waste of money. The player will have been retired or delisted by a club. Seems like we one just because Essendon got 10. I honestly think the club couldn't give a rats. He has to be delisted at the end of the year...
