Re: Not angry. Just...disappointed so far
You're not angry? If I see the opposition kick down the guts from a behind and hit up an unmarked player AGAIN this year I will f'n spew up. Opposition players running out the back of our 'shape' while our players watch on. Players not standing the mark. Opposition players marking on their forward g...

When the tat that we receive in the membership pack arrives I'm not bothered by the quality of the lanyard... I feel excited that once we get through the cricket season I will be spending more time with family members as it's the Saints that bring us together. They've given us memories and shared ex...

When you choose to boo the Melbourne Cricket Club members remember to stand up because the grandstand and seat you are sitting on was paid for by the Melbourne Cricket Club members. The AFL only provides the entertainment. I'm pretty sure the taxpayer has paid for a fair bit of the stadium developm...

Re: Josh Kelly; a "Messiah"?
I agree one single star makes a huge difference. But really you need 2-4 stars. Recruiting Kelly will suddenly make all our s*** players good. Suddenly we will learn how to tackle. Suddenly we will kick straight. Suddenly we will not kick backwards and around the boundary. Suddenly the Red Sea will...

Official Rumour: A mate of mine (our gardener actually) was having a drink down the pub with his sons and this young kid whose name rhymes with Whachie Litfield. He was told by this kid that he had been in talks with St Kilda regarding a 6 year deal since the start of the season. Did you just want ...

Sacking Grant Thomas and putting in Ross Lyon.... This was a superb decision. Not sure what the fuss is about. Spot on our most successful coach and back to back GF appearances Was nice to finally get a prelim ffs I would reckon Allan Jeans might be our most successful coach. Ross Lyon won one more...

We'll never know if GT could've won a flag. Don't have to wonder about Lyon though.Spinner wrote:Sacking Grant Thomas and putting in Ross Lyon....

We sacked this bloke too early. Look at some of the great tactical work he’s doing with the Vampires. Bet they don’t let kids run around the back and waltz into goal. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/st-kilda/scott-watters-defends-junior-footy-coaching-tactics/news-story/407c388515d3d...

The link between pedophilia and homosexuality is another topic that is taboo. In the research the evidence is incontrovertible, the two are inextricably linked, but try saying it in public and see what you get. Is there a link/reference to that incontrovertible evidence? Re: Why do we keep getting thrashed?
We commit too many players to each contest.
That was one of the things the Hawks always did. Made sure they had players outside of contests to receive and/or defend depending on who won it.. But also had the luxury of being able to believe that the players in the contest would win it.

JB - 55 games and really starting to hit his straps.
Someone should make a loose rule that you should reserve judgement on a player until they've played around 50 games. Could save a lot of bed wetting.

We're paying well under the salary cap. That ensures we aren't good enough.
Why is that so hard to understand?

Aren't we paying ~90% of the salary cap? How could you possibly beat the top teams on a regular basis? We'd be playing two top players down every time we get out on the field.

Just like last year when they were coming off back to back wins and sitting out of place on the ladder. They actually went in favourites. What a great game that was!
