Just a suggestion on the starting time perhaps a morning rather than afternoon game would be the go. The arvos at this time of year are pretty hot and you dont wont anyone keeling over. Just a thought thats all.

That review has him going to Geelong for pick 40 I think...

Id take him with our 2nd pick if he was still available then..
Absolutely he dominated the VFL final series across half back.

Cuz, had great delight at drilling us with 50m piercing passes at training, one night he hit me on the chest and it nearly broke my ribs and pushed my lungs out of my back. He just laughed and when I caught up to him in the huddle I said you nearly killed me to which he replied " Plugger use to...

Caught up with Nicky the other day he is now working on a property in Alberton WA shearing sheep. He wants to play football again next season but hasnt decided were. Loves the freedom of what hes doing and he actually thinks he might stick around for a while.

Clearly we disagree ... which is fine :) One thing I will say .... if we are arguing/discussing Clinton Jones and Andrew McQualter types this frequently in 2008, then we are in deep s***. 'Cause at the end of the day, they ain't gunna contribute much towards a top four finish. Hmmm - maybe it's a g...

Why would you say Jones isnt quick he may not be a lot of things but hes defanatly quick. It's a myth. He might have been quick at WAFL level, but in the AFL, his pace is no more than 7/10 - that's probably being generous. We have three genuinely quick, hard-running blokes: Montagna, Schneider and ...

But I wouldn't question his committment - he worked as hard as most at the club from what I saw. So why in a game did he go missing? More than likely he wasnt good enough. Why does it have to be a committment thing or the coaches fault? Some players just arent good enough. Maybe he can do extra wor...

[ [ Uh huh. That all pales into insignificance when you remember that Jones cannot actually kick, isn't actually all that quick, and has trouble reading the play. His tackling looks ok because he's usually second to the ball. McQualter's not a long kick, but hey, neither is Harvey. Plenty of room fo...

With the adition of King who in his last game took played the kick behind play role beutifully Kosi can play in front of the ball. King took a couple of great contested marks in the Grand final thats two more than our ruckmen combined for the last two seasons ( exc Kosi)

some of the best games I saw Gehrig play he kicked 2 goals Which games were they? What you want a list of games?  A well co ordinated forward line will more than often have one or more players starved of oppurtunities for the good of the team. A forward who can draw the attention not o...

A midfield looks so much better when they boot it long and someone takes a strong contested grab, and it looks terrible when you kick it in long and the oppasition take the mark. Thats why a player like Kosi with a strong grab and is strong defensivly to bring it to ground is crucial.

Flags are won with predictability Brisbane won 3 in a row by playing a predictable game plan. Two key forwards and they just backed there blokes against all others. I say let Kosi and Roo loose.

Kosi wasnt well beaten by Glass the focus was to kick the ball to Roo once Glass moved from him. Only teams that doent have two key forwards dont play two. Even sides that dont have players of Kosis and Roos ability will always endevour to play a traditional two key forward line.

We have the luxary of having two players capable of holding down both key foward roles there isnt a coach in the AFL that would knock that back.

How many teams actually have a traditional FF anyway? I don't want to see us play a traditional forward line at all. I'd basically like to see 4 guys playing as 'forward on-ballers' in our 50. Roo, Milne, Schneider, Dal, Ball, Harves, BJ, Bakes, Gilbert, X, Fiora, Kosi and Sam Fisher are ones who I...

As I am not privvy to game plans or training methods I can only guess that perhaps he hasnt had a full pre season when he is the focal point. Kosi at full foward why? Thats easy hes the best contested mark in the AFL and he demands constant attention from a first rate defender. That West Coast game people forget that Glass was shutting down Roo and when no one else could go with Kosi the switch was made. Roo then came into the game and to...
