If someone offererd us a pick 9 for Gram wed take it.
Mcevoy and Armitage value at Stkilda is extremly high as they are potentally our number 1 mid and number 1 ruck. Unfortuanatly thats how it is in the AFL.

Gram has played one really good season. The others Armitage and Mcevoy should be top liners in two years time.

Take out Gram and BAKES and replace with Ball and Mcevoy/ Armitage. Two experienced, well performed senior players for a rookie and a one year player? You must be kidding. Ball and Gram have more value than Armo (pretty good, but not seen enough of him yet) and McEvoy (who has not played minute one...

Hes still not the worst 4 choice ruckmen going around the AFL. We could still have Ackland or that donkey Bryan.

Saw young Luenberger last year get butchered by Jamar. We all know you will be the better player just that with superier strength the young blokes struggle. Remember ruckmen these days are 198cm monsters with huge leaps. Can the same be said back then.

Id back Rix to beat all first year ruckmen. Nothing to do with ability just strength.

Maybe we redrafted him because he was better than any of the players left in the draft....after all its the quality of the bottom end of the list which ultimately determines the strength of the list as a whole Aaron Edwards, David Rodan, Adam Cockshell, Anthony Corrie, Leigh Adams, Jamie McNamara, ...

Donvale defanatly wont merge, they beleive theyve got a good crop of young kids coming up in the next couple of years. Sure they will suffer the pain this year in Div 1 but will survive overall.

Perhaps if you were watching the replay of the Essendon game and not the Filth game you might have a different opinion. He played on and beat Lucas (due to Sammy going down injured) in a losing side. On last year's form that is pretty impressive. Maxy is probably our best spoiler and if you look at...

One word - INJURIES.

We did incrediabally well last season with the injury toll we had, thats including players carrying 2006 injuries into the season. Any team who can perform the way we did and with the recruitment of 2-3 important additions over the pre season a premiership is possible.

Agreed. He's doesn't play body on body well enough to play back pocket and was found out several times last season. I think he's best on the half back line where he's not as exposed however he needs to toughen up this year and improve the defensive part of his game. It doesnt matter if hes half bac...

Gram's strength isn't man-on-man or spoiling. He makes up for that in speed and delivery. Exactly. Nobody can be perfect in every single way, name a player and I'll tell you where he sucks. To open a thread lamping a best 22 player on one aspect of his game (based on flimsy evidence at best, it nee...

What? He is poor overhead if he is to play across half back he needs to improve his body work and spoiling.

Grams overhead work stinks!

Watched the replays on Fox of the Collingwood and West Coast games over the weekend. Gram was flogged continuously when the ball was in the air. He made little or no body contact and Dale Thomas just destroyed him overhead. Grams run and penertrating kicking is very important but he has to improve h...

Shane Wakelin ?

Watching a Collingwood replay the other day and Wakelin was at fullback. He played very well taking on the big forwards. Does anyone have any thoughts or reasons as to why he was delisted? I know it happened eight seasons ago but could never really understand why he was let go for free.

Loyalty in Football

Coming into another football season the comings and goings to football clubs has begun with my club being pilleged by two others. Just cant understand how people do it especially the players who only take and give nothing in return. Loyalty seems a thing of the past and has it filtered down from the...
