Re: Terry Milera's "MOUSTACHE"? !!

Well, he might call it a moustache but I'd call it a cricket match (11 on each side). I do know that it has to go and I'm not sure that he should waste a perfectly good razor on it. If he has a kitten he could rub some cream on it and get the kitten to lick it off. It's a poorer effort than the &qu...

Sorry off topic Leo - but has anyone noticed we currently have the highest POINTS FOR in the League?

All I can say is that it's been a while!!

I think you'll find though what he does do right is extremely valuable.

Just needs to work on the silly stuff and maintain confidence in himself.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs

Someone on true sainters (who they appear to think would know) said Kosi has a quad strain Quixote ...and that Gilbert also carrying back injury. Not sure about this info being in the public doman though, not good I would of thought. Thanks K. Bugger! We're getting injuries to all the wrong players.

Agreed - much more even spread.

Add to this our at times super-quick ball movement, pressure and constant want to play on and you've got a significantly different side to the 2011 Saints.

Re: Season Outlook after 9 Games

We will need a couple of good wins in the second half of the year to make the finals. Basically we need to beat 2 (and possibly 3, depending on whether we beat Richmond) out of Carlton, Geelong, Adelaide, Essendon and Collingwood in the run home. This is very achievable. I would argue that if we ca...

Re: Roo's 3qrt time dummy spit and follow on affect

Big deal. We missed 6 in the 2nd quarter and another 7 in the 3rd, including Milera's.  I'm sure if our blokes had been slotting them Roo wouldn't have given a continental. It's an emotional game and Nick got emotional.  That's all. Waddya mean big deal? It was the reason we ended up losing the gam...

Re: Goddard during song

If you have the IQ or replay of the song in the rooms, watch it. Goddard doesn't come into shot until the end of the circle, where the song is going, for the last time, "Oh how I Waaant, to bee, in ST KILDA!" etc. During this line, camera reaches Goddard, he sees it, and on 'Want to be' - ...

Re: Roo's 3qrt time dummy spit and follow on affect

Biggest non-issue of all time. People don't mention Rooey going to Milera at the start of the 4th giving him encouragement. Plus if you watch the game again you'll see many poor decisions made in that forward line - and many times Riewoldt left frustrated standing by himself. Absolute non-issue. Lov...

Re: Gilbert's work rate

His work-rate this year is off the charts. For mine the only blokes close to him are Roo and Jones. Roo especially after the Eagles game, where he turned back the clock, big time. Jones week-in week-out, but again - showed massive heart against the Eagles. Just wish he was smarter with it! There ar...

Re: Gilbert's work rate

Maybe he is working too hard & not being that smart? When he gets the ball he often looks knackered and just slams it on his foot. What results is a scrubby kick to the opposition and them kicking goals. We're talking about Gilbert not Wilkes. (Gilbert's kicks go out on the full  )
