It amuses me to see Plugger linked with No.4 all the time. He played his best football with No. 14 for us. He won his Brownlow with 14 as well. That is how I remember him

I cant see how or why the AFL approved the pre-drafting of a rookie from Queensland under a rule for Irish kids. Can the Saints do the same? I dont think so.

Everyone is forgetting that the Saints have also expressed a wish to play games at the Gold Coast. Now that Eddie has piped up, does that mean that the Saints offer is no longer an issue?

Travs Dulic, who beat Ben <cEvoy twice in the finals apparently, would be a great pick-up, but I am not sure he is old enough to be rookied.

I go for Lenny Hayes.
If you consider the effect of captaincy on a player, you would not consider either of them. It would have to be Kosi. 11 Brownlow votes in 4 games as Captain, who has equalled that ever!

No, Nick represented Tassy at a Junior level, I would expect that to start with under 12 or 13 maybe, not under 6.

7 rookies is the way I have understood to be the case for the Saints, but everyone seems to think only 6. We will have to wait 3 days to find out whether we take 2 or 3, I suppose.

Who would Riewoldt represent?

If we returned to the format of a State of Origin Carnival, who would Nick Riewoldt represent? He was born in Tassy, represented that State in Junior football, before moving to Queensland. He was recruited from Queensland into the AFL. But because he represented Tassy as a Junior, (he may have even ...

I would much prefer additional teams going into SA & WA before QLD & NSW. They could easily support a 3rd team, and those 3rd teams would be more viable than 2nd teams in the non-AFL Northern States.

I cant see the candy stripe clashing with Collingwood or any other club jumper. It does'nt. In any case I was going to suggest that is should have yellow numbers, to go with the historical period when the Saints had to wear Red Yellow and Black, to get away from Germany's national colours. during wa...

There are a lot of non-experts posting in this thread. All those names and no mention of Birss and L.Fisher. The fact he was offered to the Swans should tell you where he stands in the clubs opinion.
