I wouldn't dismiss the meaning it would have to a player to receive a trophy. Sainter_Dad's idea of a smaller one for the player to keep as well is a good one I think, especially when you can get modest but very nice trophies with engraving for under $50.

Goddard is worth 600k pa over 4 years. Very reasonable IMO.

I also think GT is great on Footy Classified. It's the best footy related show on TV I reckon. White Line Fever used to be the best

Retaining Goddard should be the clubs number one priority; I just don't like the way the club has gone about this. He's a star, pay him appropriately. We need him to lead the next generation.
