St Kilda sets 40-year record http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/rfnews/st-kilda-sets-40year-record/2009/08/31/1251570665541.html Ah, cheers for that. It's funny how the scoring flow of footy has changed over the years, in the early 80s for instance the team with the lowest score against was often sti...

Most frugal H&A season ever?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but does the 1411 points that we conceded in the 22 matches of 2009 qualify our boys as the stingiest team in VFL/AFL history? I checked the stats back as far as the early 70s and we seem to have it cornered by a fair margin in that time period... Amazing ef...

Crucified again. We have to appeal it, irrespective of the points system it just doesn't look bad enough on video to warrant 6 matches reduced to four. He could probably appeal the intentional aspect of it as well, as well as the level of contact...

Re: Joffa Cunningham

i reckon he was quite skillfull, more than most , played for the state possibly his kicking let him down occasionaly, he used to hae some great battles on the wing with doug hawkins... we had quite a few hard nuts in those days particuarly from ballarat. His kicking was average at times, although t...

Joffa was by far my favourite player until a certain Neil Elvis Winmar happened along. Because of Joff I wore #5 playing footy both at school and at all three clubs I played senior footy (took about one season at each club to graduate to single digits, but made it at all eventually)...

What's Bally's contract status?

Interesting little article in Gold Coast paper today (see end of below). I wouldn't think Luke would be keen to go anywhere... FROM SAINT to Sinner? It will be interesting to see the Gold Coast crowd reaction to St Kilda champion Nick Riewoldt tonight at Carrara. There is no doubting the former Gold...

...Are you a troll or just an idiot? One of the best clubmen and defenders we've ever been lucky to have, you aren't worthy of licking his boots... Did you actually see any of these players? If you did, and you are equating Zac Dawson with Darrell Baldock, Nicky Winwar, Ian Stewart and John McIntosh, then I rest my case. I saw them all, and Zac Dawson is NOT their equal - YET. It's one thing to have had an illustrious career of 100 games inter...

Goddard Dal Santo Blake Milne Gwilt Riewoldt Schnieder All have made terrible decisions and are really off their games.....in the first half..... I heard someone say that he had some sort of virus coming into the game? Anyone hear the same thing? Lyon said after game that he was in bed all week with a virus, impied that he dragged himself out there because of Lenny's 200th game.
