Couldn't agree more.
I don't want him to become a leading tackler as that is not his strength , but still has to apply some sort of pressure.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 11 2020
No reason why we can't bounce back.
We bounced back after the Freo loss.
We get Jones and Ryder back
The key is how we manage the players during the week to get them physically up for Essendon.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 11 2020
It was a wasted opportunity at the selection table I think.
I would have liked to have seen the likes of Savage, Lonie and Abbott in the team. I know they are not in our best 22 and wouldn't have transformed into a win, but would have
provided fresh legs and given a few other players a break.

Re: Talk it up vs Cats....
I thought they might have rested King this week and bring him back against Essendon, but since he s playing , I wonder if they will use him as a decoy , and maybe lead to the pockets , taking out 2 defenders, and using Membrey , Marshall or Battle as the central targets instead (along with the crumb...

Re: R.I.P. Danny Frawley
Absolutely shattered by the news. Loved him as a player and leader of our club He was probably the first captain I looked at as a true leader of the club since I started supporting them in the early 70s. My wife (who is not a footy head like me) ran into him once and spoke to him a few years ago whe...

Last year I couldn't work out how they could fit all 3 ( Smith, Stringer and Saad) into their salary cap.
So, how the hell do they fit Shiel in?

GA Seating for today
Hey there,
My son and I are both members (just general) and planning to get there around 2.30 today. Any idea where the better GA seating is?
I assume it's all level 3. And I want to be amongst Saints supporters of course.

Re: Last Big Win v Hawks
Round 13 2006 at Etihad by 70 points was another useful win.
I was at that game and Hawthorn were insipid that day. We should have won by 100+ but we took the foot off the pedal in the last quarter and they scored 5 junk goals.

Re: Is Wright doing enough?
A few weeks ago I heard Tom Hickey talk about him in an interview on SEN. He mentioned Richo's plan to use him as a defensive forward, and this was either just before he got back into the team, or had just had his first game back. He referred to Wright and Weller as the basher brothers. So I think f...
