Port Power...Dean Brogan...Chad Cornes

Really hate these 3 entities: Brogan: Can't stand this bloke...guarantee he will try to decapitate Rooey as he always tries to....would love to see Gardiner or King flatten him in a pre-emptive strike. Cornes: Hate his leering self-satisfied grin when they win, lets not see it tonight! Port: most ha...

Freo were so bad that it was embarassing. It was a game that actually was demoralising to watch, and, maybe not the best for the Saints players...just too easy and dragged our skill and intensity down. I was bored senseless, the only interest I had was how , not if, the Dockers were going to cough u...

I was wrong (I think) about Raph Clark. I was very scathing of him -admittedly before it was revealed about his epilepsy and his father's condition both of which were mitigating factors. Good to see him come good...hopefully soft tissue injuries will become a thing of the past. Also wrong re: Matty ...

Joffaboy...had the same thoughts...even before he retired for many of the reasons you describe. He was my favourite player, but with his retirement it almost creates a clean slate and the boys can do it for themselves and know they have to step up to his level.

Good luck to Zac....talking to a Hawthorn supporter today, he said he was at the infamous game vs Collingwood and that no-one who knew anything about footy could have been critical of Dawson. He said Hawthorn midfield put no pressure at all on the ball carriers and Rocca was one out in the fifty wit...

About a 70% effort from the boys today: Dal Santo coasted around effortlessly and was a cut above everyone else, Monty also looked classy and I thought Steven King looks set for a dominant year. Ray was OK disposal ordinary Begley was quite poor...hopeless disposal Heyne was good and showed endeavou...

Grave doubts that Goose will get up again...too batttered and bruised...even when he did play recently, he looked slow, lost and awkward and gave away so many free kicks in crucial positions.
Would love to be wrong , but I don't include him in my ideal side at all.

Rod Keogh, and for some reason Daniel Healy....best kick in AFL as Sam Newman said every wek on footy show...I think he kicked 5 against WCE in Perth one day...always thought if we could only get the ball to hi anywhere within 60m he was a chance.

Daniel Harris

Always liked the look of this guy. 26 yrs old and can get the pill, good tackler and fierce in and under if a bit slow.

Would like to see him join the Saints and help Lenny and Bally in the centre. Played well against the Cats and Hawks midfield this year, so he's no flat track bully.

Please...no more recycled hack ruckmen...and hack is the right term. They dropped White at the end of the year to play Jamar in the desperate hope he would show enough to be tradeable....lets not fall for it again.
Monkhorst, Clarke, Gardiner, Brooks, Ackland....off the top of my head.

To be fair the question is why was he selected. I agree, how he is ahead of Birss is beyond me. Birss would've been well suited to last night...fearless attack at the ball and good run was needed. Just don't get why Birss is out of favour...and yes it wouldn't chnge the result, and many players were...

Goddard now elite

Sad end to the year, but BJ has been the highlight for me as he has climbed into elite status. I reckon he is only behind Roo as the best at the club, hjas gone past Kosi, Dal , Ball, S. Fisher, Max and even Hayes...super effort.

He was excellent tonight.

I know how you feel. Ever since the Adelaide game I've felt like we've been running to a movie script: 1. Beat Adelaide. 2. Beat Bummers by 108 pts to make the top 4. 3. Get smashed by the cats 4. Beat the Pies. 5. Beat the Hawks. 6. Learn from number 3 and beat the cats by one point with #35 kicki...

I'm feeling unreasonably confident..

Bit worried because when it comes to the Saints, long years of suffering has made me a bit of a pessimistic b@stard....but this week I feel quite confident that we'll fix the Hawks up....more confident then against the Pies! 1. Harvey factor 2. Underdogs - we perform much better 3. Kosi, Raph, Gilbe...
