Steve Johnson the only chance IMO, but definately a publicity stunt. Is it just for this year or is it ongoing?

It does seem this way, I agree. Longmire was a monty to get a job last year but this year has missed 4 opportunities.

Brian Royal was in the mix for ages but never got a gig and is not talked about anymore.

T.D, McKenna plenty of others seem to be in the same boat.

I have no problem with the club trading/delisting any of these guys. I am however perplexed at the peolpe who say wakelins third tall defender etc. I seem to remember Alistair Lynch playing on a Wakelin in 3 GF's In a row. Not sure who this swag of strong defenders Collingwood or Port have are eithe...

I think Collingwood are probably in the box seat personally, I beleive they will put together a very attractive offer to him, and then if he nominates them I would imagine all but 3 players would be open for use to secure the picks they need. Essendon may also be a smokey, great club from a faciliti...

I think his point is that Judd holds the cards, he is out of contract and whilst he has said he would not, he can just walk. So if he nominates a club as his place of choice, then it is up to the eagles to do a deal or risk the nick Stevens scenario. Question? If he was to walk does he automatically...

Whilst I dont think we should trade our heart and sole away for Judd, I do beleive that we would be negligent not to talk to Judds management and work out if we would be likely to be able to do a deal without harming the morale and future of our list. Whilst he is obviously a lot younger and in a be...

dont think its that unrosie, just think that he maybe the club will see it in their best interest that he is no longer there and he the same.

Didak

Heard a rumour today that Didak will definately go to Adelaide next year. My source says that all will not be rosie for him when the case involving him, bikies, strip clubs and shooting at things goes to court and he will be moved on/start fresh elsewhere/return home for family reasons or whatever s...

Interested in Moorabbin properties, eh? I wonder if he would be keen on a dirty great big footy ground with shithouse facilities. You know, somewhere to exercise Bec, keep her weight down. We could let him by a place and then swap with him. his place will undoubtably have better facilities. And I w...

I say te more clash strips the merrier, surely assists to raise revenue for the club. As long as we maintain the tradition for home games I am happy for the club to wear different colors for all away games.

Cant imagine that moving home grounds would be or should be a high priority. We have moved twice in 20 years already, we play the Dome well, its capacity suits our drawing potential against a majority of clubs, we get the advantage of a closed roof in the event of inclement weather. The dome is home...

If you re-read my post I suggested that Thomas move aside and take a role more suited to his strengths and allow a better coach to guide the team on field. This is what Thomas and Butterss stated was their intention when Thomas was appointed and in hindsight it should have happened this way. No I di...

All I know is that we are a foundation club with the best colors in the comp and some of the most marketable players going around, including arguably the most recognisable man in Football in Reiwoldt. We have a large enough membership and a very large supporter base and it is also fair to say that w...

Sensational post Rog, as you say the timing is right and the challenge is being handled in a professional manner. If the SFF ticket gets up then it will because the majority of the stake holders think it is time for a change which is how it should be.
