You could go through most clubs and come up with similar failures E.g Geelong - Kane Tenace Essendon - Kepler Bradley Bulldogs - Farren Ray Adelaide - Darrem Pfeiffer There are plenty of others. Does anyone have a list of all draftees from 2000 to 2005? If so, it would be very interesting to get som...

Here's a guy who's had his first chance in a long while, watching lesser players get games ahead of him. He has come in, taken 4 contested marks, been a very effective go-to man and played with composure, all but for his goal kicking. For those who wish to be critical of his performance, you are bei...

Old Fatprick just can't let it go, can he? Another example of quite appalling journalism - full of giant holes and outrageous leaps of queer logic (ie no logic). His hatred of Thomas has been pathological from the start. Give it up, you big fat, pompous buffoon. Go and have a threesome with John Law...

Schneider has been our very worst player in three of our last four games. The fact that he is still in that team indicates a match committee that is far too conservative and unwilling to try players who are showing good enough form at VFL level. If Schneider has a repeat performance of last week and...

Trading will not help our situation. We need to hold firm and recruit new talent from the national draft and rookie draft. Topping up has never worked for anyone, and it's not going to for anyone in the future. We need to get at least two genuinely talented kids this year and next, or we'll stagnate...

Iceman, I agree. I said it on this forum a while ago. We have the most dysfunctional, disorganised forward set up in the league.

We complain about our midfielders' delivery to our forwards, but there's quite a bit more to it than kicking skills alone.

Bring back Terry Daniher - PLEASE!!!!!!

De-listed will be:

Rix
Ferguson (let him show if he can play!!!)

Dempster - NO GOOD

Schneider - NO INTENSITY

Fiora - IT'S OVER FIZZ

I won't be sorry if these guys never play again. It's time for Ross Lyon to lose his love affair with his former Sydney players. They are simply a liability.

Nice to see Leigh Fisher in the back pocket where he belongs. Dempster is lucky. A couple of pathetic efforts cost us goals last week. Schneider should thank his lucky stars too. Another game like last week's should see him banished to Casey for a few weeks, if the slelction panel has the balls to d...

I'm all for giving the kids a go, but they need to be played against the right type of opponents at this stage so they don't get physically smashed. The Richmond game was ideal, as they are not known for their physical style of game, so that was an opportunity lost, as was the Collingwood game. I ha...

If he has a lot of running to do his legs turn to concrete. Doesn't have sufficient aerobic fitness to play up the ground. CHF is out of the question at the moment. I don't hink this is miraculously going to change, either.

Schneider? One thing I have noticed about him is that when the pace of the game is hot, he simply can't keep up. A liability against teams who move the ball quickly. I think it's becoming apparent why Sydney off-loaded their two flankers to us. Dempster? There is nothing about his game that suggests...

MEHER BABA, Words of wisdom indeed. The 2004 and 2005 drafts were utterly scheissenhausen, and very few clubs did well out of them. The jury is still out on all the recruits that have been selected during Lyon's tenure, so I'm a bit amused by some people's awe of Ross Lyon's recruiting for untried t...

I also think it's high time for the club to embrace new talent in the liKes of Geary and Allen at this point in time, and maybe even Jack Steven later in the season. We simply don't have this option available to us. We are predictable up forward and ...

Riewoldt out

X.Clarke out

Maguire out?

Who are the obvious replacements aoart form King?

Geary?

Allen?

L.Fisher?

C.Jones?

A big chance for a few to come back in. It wil be interesting to see who the coaching panel select - the new breed, or the tried and (maybe) true?

Koschitzke and the ruck

Once again, Koschitzke's centre bounce ruckwork was abysmal. Symonds slammed the ball down the throat of his midfielders with ease. I just hope that Steven King will be fit for our next game, as Koschitzke will need to play up forward in Riewoldt's absence. When Koschitzke is in the ruck, the opposi...
