Was a bit late when I saw the first half of the replay. Whilst Kosi pushed down on the WC player, what surprised me is that when he got up there was no remonstration with Kosi.

So there has to be doubt about the force of his hand.

Another Saints supporter that I didn't know

Was surprised to read (and others may already know) that Greg Inglis from the Storm is a Saints fan (apparently knows a few of the boys, although didn't nominate which one). Came up in a blog that was run by the Heraldsun

Well matrixcutter, no one is forcing anyone to purchase anything. I do have a number of other pieces already (answering a different question). For example I have the Club produced 1966 piece already, this is a spare. Just down sizing what I have. If no one is interested, that is an O.K. thing. I wil...

The silver plate is unusual. In all honesty, I have not seen one before (and believe you me, I've seen a lot of Saints memorabilia over the years). The simple style of the plate makes it ancient but as to who produced it at the time, I am unsure. Perhaps if another member has one in their collection...

Selling off part of my Saints Collection - Now for Sale

I am selling off a number of Saints items that I've found keep getting stored. I've sent up a photos link to the items I have for sale which include things like the Club limited released 1966 St Kilda premiership piece (24/66), a match worn Robert Harvey Guernsey, 1966 souvenir grand final win plate...

Suggestion for someone attending Saints training

Given we are in the midst of designing a new banner, I thought it would be great if one of our many budding photographers could take a nice close up face pic of our four sponsored players. This could then be made available to all the budding designers to use when working on the banner. I thought wha...

Hmmm how interesting. So only those who volunteer and make money are to be rewarded. Those who volunteer their time freely and don't make any money are entitled to nothing. Also Grumpyone please speak for yourself when you say; "We insist". Some on the board may insist, however you do not ...

Firstly I want to congratulate Mr Magic on the terrific work he has done. Clearly this would not have happened if he hadn't put his hand up. BUT In all honesty this sets a dangerous precedent. I can immediately think of lots of other hard working people on the saintsational site. For one; all the mo...

I have to be somewhat divided here. My son was :x because we didn't pic him up, but I am happy with the board's decision. It is interesting in the Sun Herald today there is a story about Ben's connections with a underworld drug figure. Immediately the problems have started for Richmond. When a playe...

The guernseys are the same as the traditional ones. The '66 piece was $2500.00 The jeans which were framed I am not sure about but I think they were around $100 or so. The guernseys I can't recall but remember thinking they were quite cheap (don't quote me but somewhere around $30 give or take) I di...

shop garage sale in Northcote

Went past a shop which is being used as a garage sale and popped in. They had some good St Kilda stuff including the 66 piece (limited edition the club brought out for $2500) plus another pair of signed jeans from 1997 grand final and some pura milk guerneys and other stuff I don't remember. I asked...

I will take four shares as I did last year (completely missed it until Mark from USA sent me a message, so his PM's are working) I note from reading this that there is no mention of once sponsorship happens of showing off this in the banner. Have we given up after the non event last year? It's a sha...

I really think it's quite shameful that none of the moderators have put up the new banner. At the very least we deserve an explanation such as, we need to do this or that or it will be up by such a date. To simply do nothing is very poor. I for one am very disappointed. I paid to sponsor the two Sai...

A bit of a laugh - apologies to those who have seen this

Received this from a mate and I thought it was humourous. Sorry if it has been posted before but it's the first time I have read it and thought it might cheer up someones day: September 30, 2037. Demetriou Dome, New Delhi , India . The Saints finally won that elusive second premiership with a hard f...

I think it's a great idea. I have sold memorabilia through here before and feel great that it's other Saints fans who will buy it and treasure it.

It also gives Saints fans first chance to own something that haven't got or want to add to their collection.

Now I know why newbies do late night radio

Couldn't help but have a laugh at this. On Thursday night driving home late after a shift (around 1am) I was listening to SEN. They were doing match previews and the Saints V Carlscum came up. The guy says "and this week the changes to the Saints are the return of Fraser Gherig and it will be i...

Not that this is a huge deal, but I really thought when I renewed my membership last year nice and early that the scarfe and DVD would turn up before Xmas. I understood that the membership tickets and cap for reserved seat holders would turn up sometime in 2008. Was I alone in thinking that or curio...

A sad Christmas Tale

This year my 15yo son really wanted one of the more modern Saints guernseys (predominately white one that they had this year). So, being diligent, I bought one off the club towards the end of the year and even went to the sale they had at the club and bought a second guernsey which was great (the th...
