There's a spot for Voss inside the F50 and a strong hands marking option unless RL decides to play 17 men behind the ball. If we attack sides playing expansive free flowing footy then Fraze, Voss, Milne could do a lot of damage.

If there's not video footage, I bet Tony Jones will be watching the proceedings closely to see if the AFL acts on the evidence from witnesses who may have seen the incident.

Stinger, bit harsh. If I remember correctly, GT's lack of regard for ruckman forced his hand. Get crap money or move on? Not really a tough decision.

Can't say enough about Buckley's punching bag. Always rose in he big games, played some tremendous finals. Tough uncompromising always put his body on the line. Although probably this year was one too many, will always be remembered positively.

Let's not re-write history. IMO, Knobel was a more than handy tap ruckman, rarely beaten in hit-outs. I can remember in (pretty sure) 2004? he was in the top 6 getting their hands to he ball first.

Personally, did'nt mind him. Remember the night he almost cut poor old Jarrod Brennan in half.

Unfortunately injuries have caught up with the big Yin. The ankle is my biggest concern as he now has the turning circle of the QEII. In any case, IMO RL is preparing Fraze for a new career as a centreman as evidence in the past weeks where he sems to spend most his time in the centre circle, most f...

I would not trade S.Fisher UNLESS he wants to go. Then I would ask for 2 first round picks and one of their starting 18 (Van Berlo?). Chips is an All Australian type and would be in the best 10 players on any AFL list. Absolute gun, with reliable foot skills and supreme in the air. Worth plenty.

Unfortunately the Sydney style of stop/start, out-of-bounds, numbers behing the footy works because they have (had) always ruckman to hit to advantage and players who make spaceand can hit targets 30m away 100% of the time. We do not possess a reliable hand on the ball ruckman and are carrying too m...

Need to get RL's definition of 'a flood'. Obviously not the same as mine. 18 men behind the ball is flooding.

36 - Robert Harvey................ His call. Has been valuable this year. IMO Yes, play on. 34 - Andrew Thompson.......... No. 34 - Matthew Clarke............... No way. Should not play again. Adds no value. 31 - Fraser Gehrig.................. Depends on $$$$. If he wants >200K+ No. 30 - Aaron Hami...

RL is more conservative than a jar of Strawberry Jam. Changes will depend on injuries. If Attard/Gilbert/{others pulling up sore} are OK then changes will be:

OUT: Jones
IN: Birss

IMO
OUT: Jones, Rix, Attard
IN: Voss, Brooks, Birss

Milne must be kept. Had ten touches Sat night, not many of those in the F50 for 2 goals 1 . We need a gme plan to move the ball into F50 faster and give Milne 10 touches in our attacking zone = 5 goals a game. IMO a beter than average crumming forward. If only he could get out of the habit of gettin...

Why have Brisbane been firing the past 6 weeks? A. Jonathan Brown in an open forward line and the 15 others moving it as fast as possible into the F50. What can the Saints do? A. Riewolt in an open forward line and 15 others moving it as fast as possible into the F50. Sounds to simple. Gehrig, I'm s...

Answer is simple. We are not used to playing a 18 men behind the ball brand. Simple. We have the team that can play an expansive brand but RL would prefer to win by 20 rather than 60.

I was most disappointed with the 18 men behind the ball approach against the Bulldogs when we were at full strength. That's the same Bulldogs flogged by Eagles and Cats the 2 previous weeks and now Melbourne. RL is not prepared to back the team to play a expansive attacking game, why??? someone plea...

Agreed. We have the premier (OK equal with Jonathan Brown) forward in the competion who is wasted taking 12-15 marks a game mainly centre wing. Roo should replace Gehrig and take these marks 30-40 out. And build a game plan to move the flipping thing as fast as possible into teh F50. Sounds to simpl...

Dinosaur with no sideways movement. Time and the game has moved on, especially now RL (nee Roos) is in the directors chair. We need a more mobile type out of the square (ie Fevola {drool}).

What's with the way he is holding the footy? The Fevola method of left hand high right hand low is ok when kicking for goal but geeez during field play how the hell can he expect accurate delivery or shooting for goal under pressure holding it that way? Also looks to be carrying some kind of injury....
