Can anyone help?

In 4018 posts has Plugger66 ever said anything against the AFL or an AFL decision?

Just wondering.

Goodes/Not Goodes dosent matter. Never mind the intent (see Murphy), one week there is a duty of care not to make contact to the head, this week errrrrr, we'll let one slip. Like I said, never mind who it is , how about some consistancy AFL. Also change the rule if one umpire points a free one way t...

Kosi, IMO, is not suited inside the F50 the way we play. Where he has dominated is when Rucking/running free around the ground. No opposition ruck has the same motor. With the way the ball has been entering, Roo never stands a chance. By the time the ball gets near the drop zone he's been held, drag...

What have people been smoking? Trade Kosi and Roo????????????? You would have to be kidding. Yesterday the inside 50's were 58-57 (against). Differential similiar to every game this year. We need to change the way the inside 50 is delivered. Structure the forward line to a hit up lead rather than a ...

My opinion, yours welcome.

The ball did not seem to spin end-on-end for a lot of the kicks. Seemed to waft then float through the air.

For some players I deem pretty reliable kicking over 30m the ball just frubbled and swifted.

Out: 50m bombs into the forward 50. In: Kicks into space in front of a leading forward. Out (of the forward 50): Kosi, Roo. In (to the forward 50): smaller quicker leading types, removing the automatic thought process of 'kick it long and high - Kosi and Roo can out mark 2 or 3 opponents. Out: The p...

Any chance the umps celebrate the occasion, in a token gesture, by paying him a free in the forward 50 (for the first time in 149 games)!

Too many games on the concrete of Telstra Dome.

I have long thought that Luke, with his type on injury, should, as a professional action, seek a trade to a club that does not play 14+ games a year on an unsafe surface.

IMHO.

Dempster/Schneider? At least they display some skills. Dempster wasnot that bad last night and Schneider needs to play in the forward 50. Raph cops it EVERY week because his performances are continually not up to scratch.

Raph would not get a game at Melbourne. Needs to spend the remainder of the year at Casey learning the craft. Looks slow, decision making is poor, kicking ......, lacks confidence marking ..... . Not sure if he is not 100% or if the injuries have wrecked his body but ........... geeze currently not ...

Regarding the RL game plan. When we attack we look good and get the scoreboard ticking over. I'm just getting a little annoyed with what normally follows. That is 20 minutes of 18 men behind the centre of the gound. The secord quarter last night when I felt we were on top, 18 men were behind the bal...

Happy about the selections over the past 3 weeks. Slowly removing all the dead wood. Well ...... there's Gehrig. Boy is this a pressure game for him against a mark and run Tigers defence.

If he has a shocker he may well be carried off for the second time in 8 months.

One area where we will see if there has been any improvement is toughness. Williams has set Port a challenge every time we play them to test us physically. Milne is always targetted as is Lenny.

Need to step up and not wilter last last year.

42 (Feb 66, barely remember the GF). Got roped into playing hockey for StKilda U8s down by the lake by like minded group at Cheltenham Heights Primary (now Le Page). The name link led me to follow the Sainters. Sometimes I dream of the Premership joys if only I had played with Hawthorn or Essendon!!...

Re Gardiner. Did we really think that a 110 kg giant with dodgy foot would get through more than 2 games on the Telstra Dome concrete. The surface is not safe and the AFLPA need to do something about the work place of Ess, Dogs and Saints players.

Unfortunately the time for G has come.

The future for the Saints is Roo out of the square with an empty Forward 50. No value to the team with him taking marks across the wings.

The Telstra Dome concrete claims more casualties.

When will the AFLPA make a stand and demand something is done about this unsafe work place.

I'll make a prediction. Riewolt will get his arms chopped every contest and will receive 3 free kicks (one in the first, third and early in the last). However, it's not much of a crystal ball effort, happens every week. Defenders know the umps are not going to pay Roo a dozen frees so they'll contin...

Game Review. We looked flat as do most teams playing their third game in a row running on the concrete of the Dome (especially after a couple of 6 day breaks). Dogs looked fresher and for so many of our midfield to show absolutely no zip there must be something else a factor rather than lack of effo...

Agreed tonight was one of our best. But the line breaking at pace was missing (as with a dozen other midfielders).

Happens every year .....

Too many games in a row on the concrete of Telstra Dome and we eventually put in a shocker. To me we looked leg weary, there was no hard running into space after quarter time meaning every forward thrust was a long bomb into the F50. Joey, Dal, Gilbert, Gram, SFisher and X all never really showed th...
