We beat Adelaide and Dons of course. But we don't beat Adelaide by too much as we want them to finish 5th and Collingwood 6th. Only percentage separates them. If my calculations are correct - assuming Collingwood beats Port and Adelaide beats Dogs .... we play Magpies in final at MCG and Swans play ...

I think it's fair to say we're only going to scrape into the 8 and if Riewoldt's hand is a concern - plus Kosi's form, I say give the G Train a run in the 2nds this week - if he feels ok give him a run in the last 2 games. Got nothing to lose. And the last 3 weeks of footy has been very ordinary.

Have to agree (sadly) Saintly-safes. I'm in a tipping comp (like many) and there's no way I'd pick us to win next week. Mind you ... if Freo wins another game don't they lose a priority draft pick? Yeah Goddard was one of our better players tonight. Great goal in last q and Milne's miracle goal should have inspired a greater effort. Ah .... memories of the G Train (not as many yips as Roo) and Hamill making a contest in forward line. Two great losses - but that's in the past now.

Maybe if we had three players doing the wrong thing, copped plenty of media attention and had our backs to the wall we might be able to come out and have a heroic win. Just doesn't seem fair does it? You're right Plugger. Just beat Freo and Port. Only decent wins were against Hawks and North .... but even then they were come from behind wins. Only big win this year has been against Demons. Bifg deal. Before season ends I'd just love to see us play 4 quarters and bury a side.

Two bad kicks which went straight to Collingwood players in last quarter were costly. But what the heck! We shouldn't have been trailing anyway. But if they'd been on target we may have just had a chance to 'steal' a win

We won't beat Freo I'm resigned to missing finals. Had their chance. Any team that struggles to beat Eagles, Port and an undermanned Pies shouldn't be there.
