StK Vs BL behind the goals at the gabba perspective

firstly as bad as it looked on TV it was worse at the ground. You could see things unfold with a sad inevitability that the Lions were going to thump us. It started with Roos miss in the first 1/4 it was the easiest of kicks, and how he shanked it is beyond me. For a player of his calibre and pay ch...

Blake - ROFLcopter.
Both playing well, actually doing the jobs asked of them.
Yep agree, just got back from the game, CJ & Blake both played well, and are NOT our problem.

Blake will be our best option for Bradshaw, hands down. This forum just gets better and better. Everton do you actually watch any games? Blake has played well, as judged by most here, and more importantly by the Saints coaching staff. But sadly in your mind if he gets a goal kicked on him and we lo...

Hang em up Fraser. Poor decision to return in the first place and poor decision by Ross to allow it. Enjoy retirement and building your commercial empire. Rubbish He has the third best goal average at the club, better than Kosi. The guy cant run anymore, but camp him in the goal square, place armit...

Would love Kosi to line up on Brown or play loose in defense.
At the very least it would show Kosi the amount of work rate, body use and kicking skills a true CHF needs.

NDS' best game for the year but this is the thing, out of form Dale Thomas is assigned NDS, and has his best for the year. It would seem opposition coaches are making choices on the basis that picking players who can be damaging on the rebound is the best choice for tackling the NDS factor. Burns' s...

hmmm sort of disagree with the assessment.
We smashed them at stopages, hands down, but I think where they got the upper hand was their on-ballers smashed us on rebound with superior leg speed. Not to mention their kicking for goal.

Wallace decided (I'm guessing obviously) that with Dal out of form he was better off taggin Joey. I don't think the matchups had anything to do with form. Kane Johnson plays on the opposition's best mid every week. He's had Dal the last few times we've played them. Though kane was often wide of Dal...

Agree with this assessment,
Rix and Gilbert have been good value.
And arent we all forgeting about Brooks, you would have to throw him in for good measure too.
As for Wallsy he loves StKilda when he has a contract, ridicules us when he hasnt.

Gday Saintly1 Hope you can make the Gabba this week, its a joy giving it to bandwagon supporters, NRL bumsnifffing converts, and people who only went to see "Acker" now going through withdrawals. The main QLD group is run by the tireless and fiercely StKilda stalwart - StBev. She heads the...

Definitely not against Symmonds would have been D Cox.
He ran off the ground straight after slotting the pass to Fevola, so he was ok out on the wing where he gathered the ball and kicked it 50mts.
Dont really care how long he is out for as long as it is at least 1 week.

Fraser wont be out for as long as the media is speculating
He looks fine, it wasnt a collision injury and obviously just over strained his last kick. Or more likely a planned strategy by malthouse not to tax his baby in the last quarter.

can someone tell me if Rix plays the whole game in that position or does he exchange with McEvoy?

Its funny how some here crucify their hated players for making a few mistakes... but yet would be willing to accept the same mistakes that would be made by "kids". Perhaps the reason for the kids playing in the VFL is because they have not earned their place over the Blakes, Fiora, Rix, &a...

there too many $64 questions about the saints list. I dont think Goodard is being played out of position in the backline and two different coaches have used him consistently in the sweeping role to back that up. The problem he has is accountablity, and stupid free kicks against. If you watch his gam...

Kosi to CHB...fullstop. He is not a ruckman, and any stat you want to look at will back that up. And I cant believe that with so many posters singing his praises here, why is no one calling for McEvoy to be brought in against collingwood. It would have been suicidal against PA in the ruck, so I see ...

Some of Gardiners center taps were excellent, but he burnt all his tickets in under two quarters of footy. Kosi is still our third to fourth rated ruckman, and didnt do much on the night to affect the game.... Symmonds smashed us. We probably have 6 more games to sort out our center setup. But at th...
