Re: M-I-L-N-E-Y-!!!!
Phil Matera and Jeff Farmer are the only two small forwards who have consistently performed at or above the level of Milne. Matera spent a lot of time as the 'go to' forward for the weagles. Both players are valued at 500k p/a or more. So by and large pound for pound, dollar for dollar we have one o...

Re: Wilkes
so we won a game and a guy playing his first senior game after 18 months or so get his paper work lodged to be subbed off after 3 possessions and 2 goals. He kicks another goal after the paperwork is lodged, and coach is a bit worried about a tweak in his hammy. Sounds pretty logical a decision by t...

Re: Can we win one of our next four?
we blew our chances against freo and adelaide with a little help from the umpires. With could have been 5 and zip tbh and our confidence sky high.
The reality is much of this game is played between the ears.
We are capable of winning all 4 and losing all 4.

Re: Im not usually a lane swapper............... but
I'm a small minded man.
I hope we smash freo when we play them and send their best players to hospital.
Yes I am that shallow.
Good work Loris must be a decade now we've been chatting here? Lol

Re: Where's Raph
pretty sure raph has had to deal with a number of medical issues, including epilepsy, medication, as well as injuries. Yes, when fit he is in our best 22. Outstanding talent, so far on realised a few times. X was my sons favourite player. Raph could have been a premiership player and wasnt' responsi...

Man love for the Goddard!
Looks like he was going to kill the man with murder in his eyes.
Look I agree with him, but he needs to watch his temper for a stupid suspension.

Re: Changes next week
people are just used to us having our forwards in the back 50. anyone forward of the centre bounce is a bit of a surprise after 3 years of Ross. Monty was disappointing in so far as he didn't get 40 possessions..../rolleyes emoticon It was actually really good that we had such an even spread of form...

Re: Great article on Heath Black
good article, might be the first auto biography I buy since Bangers (which incidently I thought was poorly crafted, love the man, but the book was a bit of merch fluff) I loved HB, then hated him. Had no respect for him as a player at the end. That said having gone through a lot of relationship prob...

Re: Goddard has it too easy
I don't think goddard has it easy at all. He's targeted as the man to take out almost every game. The physical buffeting he gets is on par with what ball used to cop, and what Big Nick has to deal with every game. I love the idea of BJ at CHF, the problem is, he sets up 3 or 4 goals every game by cr...

Re: Hate to repeat it but McEvoy...
You guys realise he's only 22 right? He was one of the last players picked when 17 year olds were available. I'm dissapointed he hasn't won a brownlow now, lets trade him for picks and see if we can get another 18 year old. Ruckmen generally are effective from about 24 to 30 because of the time take...

Re: Can we have an official welcome back Lenny thread?
Love Lenny. Not expecting much after such a long lay off and age 32. TBH I never thought he'd amount to much as a new kid playing under timid watson. Then again i thought Caydn beetham would be a 10 year superstar. Wrong on both accounts :) Well done Lenny, absolutely star, So very very glad to be p...

Let me just say, I think Goddard is a terrible player at shutting down opposition players, and CJ is there to definately overcome this glaring deficiency in goddards play. Let me rebuff that by saying that Goddard's opponent should worry about tagging him... or maybe one of the other Goddards can h...

I don't know how true it was but I did hear that Adrian McAdam was isolated and victimised a fair degree at North Melbourne. Moyle any relation as well? Just because you are the son of a very good player doesn't infer you will be good yourself. That said, the flying scotsman was lovely to watch and left a lasting memory of his style, grace, speed and kicking from so few games. (53 for us 58 for the brions/bears) Had hands...
