Re: Congrats BJ on 200 games
noting silvagni as assistant coach fought for BJ in the defensive line. Apparently all the structural coaches wanted goddard in their section, midfield forward and defence. As such silvangi probably knows goddard inside out as well as his heart. Hence his knowledge that it will be hard to lure him o...

it does seem we are firing up the scoreboard, but our defence is leaking like a sieve.

Re: Watters on the "rat pack"
Been a Milne fan for a long time. Every time he has a bad game, people want to delist him. Will get 600 goals IMO. smokey for AA again this year if his back half of the season continues and he can sneak that FP role again. I think his numbers are really making people look at him for the first time.....

Re: Do we fly the flag?
remember when in the VFL filandia bit the balls of one of our players? he got the free kick after we retaliated, got two 50s and then scored the goal that won them the game.
WTF? he was suspended for 12 weeks but they won the grand final.

glad we didn't get him. pure poison, over rated and injury prone at Richmond.

Re: Goose on Rooey??
Goose would be better of playing on a slower player. I think goose would outplay Kosi significantly, better match. Goose had a mightly leap on him when he was younger, might be able to curtail kosi in the ruck as well if they try and shake the tag.
Being doing well for the brions as power defender.

Judd - Am I missing something?
did he really try and cripple a prone player? just watched a reply and it would seem to me, he tried to break or dislocate a prone players arm/shoulder? WTF? this is as bad as stafford's attempt to cripple blake by dropping his knees on a prone player, which permanently damaged a young player. One o...

@moods.
yep, I'd be hard pressed to take my kids to the football of the 1980s when I started going.
As for the latrines ><
TD/ED/ducklands whatever has baby change rooms. Imagine that at Moorabbin, western oval, vic park, princes park etc...lol.

Re: Norf- Hands down the most feral bunch of thugs in the AF
I've seen violence and poor behaviour from fans of all clubs. Including saints supporters. 12 years ago when i used to take my new born son to the footy in the basket (some of you may remember up in the new Moorabbin wing with his size 000 robert harvey signed hot cross bun jumper). While pushed the...

Sydney have won a bunch of games by a handful of points. We have lost a bunch of games by a handful of points <shrug>.
had we been 10.2 with all the close ones going our way watters would be a genius.

Re: Boring Wins v Entertaining Losses
Quite simple really. I would take: An entertaining win over a boring win. An entertaining loss over a boring loss. A boring win over an entertaining loss. :) and point 3 is where i think some of the criticism of our current form comes from. I think 4 close losses hurt a lot. We COULD HAVE SHOULD HA...

Re: Boring Wins v Entertaining Losses
Dan how many players of the 22 that played last night do you believe will be retired by the end of 2014? Lets have a look at ages at the end of 2014: Blake 35 Clarke 29 Dal Santo 30 Dempster 30 Fisher 32 Gilbert 29 Goddard 30 Gram 30 Hayes 34 C. Jones 30 Kosi 32 Milne 35 schneider 32 Monty 31 Peake...

Re: Boring Wins v Entertaining Losses
I don't know JB. I like the fact some of the young kids are coming on fast, but I don't think its enough at this stage. We lost 4 very close games, port, Tigers, freo and last night. We COULD have been turning in at 10 and 2 not 6 and 6. Don't think watters has done a bad job as a coach. There are t...

Re: Boring Wins v Entertaining Losses
I agree JB. the lyon hate here is strong, but we competed for premierships. At the midway point this year we are competing for a finals spot. That said, Lyons first year we didn't make the finals and I along with others hated lyon at that stage. We saw a transition out of the team during the end of ...

Re: Is Kosi fair dinkum
Kosi should be in the goal square or the ruck and now where else if we are to get any value out of him.
Let roo run around the 50m arc and get Kosi to stand in the square and never be more than 10m from there.
When he does go in the ruck, he just rucks.

Re: 3 goals missed
two things cost us again. Poor goal shooting and inconsistent umpiring. head high tackles, holding the ball, blocking and deliberate out on the full was erroneous by the umpires. Poor goal kicking cost us again. Roo actually seems better at 50m than he does in the 30 to 45 range. Very much like buck...
